File Description:
This float D18S is a former RCAF Expeditor Mk.3NMT (CT-128), now operated by Kenora Air Service Ltd. (Ontario), which offers a fishing from waters bordering Woodland Caribou Provincial Park in Ontario and Atikaki Wilderness Park in Manitoba.This is a FSX adaptation of the wonderful FS9 D18S Float cargo plane by Milton Shupe with two optional VC panels (VFR and IFR), more or less authentic to those of former RCAF Twin Beeches, being used now as float planes. Type: Douglas C-47A-30-DK. Registration: XY-ABF. Year built: 1944. Two Union of Burma C-47's collided on 22 February 1967, but both landed safely at Myitkyina (XY-ABF and XY-ACN). Burma names itself Myanmar today. But, Burma is however still named by the folk and some countries. After the renaming, Union of Burma airways became apportioned in Myanma airways (domestic) and Myanmar airways intl. The airline code of UB is used with domestic flights still today, with the international flights, the airline code was changed effective at the 22 April, 2002 from UB to 8M. Re-upload. These panel bitmaps require the commercial software package of "Aeroworx X-treme King Air B200" Version 2.0.1 for FS2004. You can get this wonderful bird at http://www.aeroworx.com/. The changed 2D-bitmaps are copyright protected and published with permission of Aeroworx.
The modifications are limited to a different perspective design of the middle pole from the PIC's and well the FO's view. You will find as well included in this package a description of the necessary modifications of the panel.cfg files if you want to see a working "Bendix/King KLN 90B TSO" in all views (where applicable), including the VC.
