Tips and Tricks Number 19 - February 2006 Edition. This issue includes several solutions to common problems as well as links to some interesting sites. Included is the popular "From the E-Mail Bag" department which answers a question of general interest. Of special interest is an EXCLUSIVE BONUS file prepared just for readers of this series - you will not find this anywhere else! An updated index by John Burford for the entire series in Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format is included. Drzewiecki Design Grass is a freeware, fully automated package of ultra high quality, 4096x4096 pix grass and snow textures for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004, Microsoft Flight Simulator X, FSX:SE and Lockheed Martin Prepar3D (all currently available versions). It will enhance ground textures in the whole FS.
Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Lockheed Martin Prepar3D have texture resolution limit, which is 1024x1024 pixels. It is possible to select higher resolution by manually editing configuration files but Drzewiecki Design Grass will do that for you automatically!
Default FS9's grass is 128x128pix and with Drzewiecki Design Grass you can admire the 1024x1024 ground texture resolution.
Extra features: Drzewiecki Design Grass will automatically add a HIGHMEMFIX=1 tweak to your FS, which will prevent texture disappearing from aircraft and buildings + snow texture for winter flying.

6 cameras pointing at the aircraft and additional views inside the aircraft.

File Description:
The original Cessna 404 Titan was repainted to represent a plane of this type based fictitiously in the Languedoc, in the south of France.
The second painting is in the colors of the ‘French Gendarmerie’ (police). It is necessary to have the original of Cessna 404 Titan. It can be downloaded on the site of Mike Stone (http://www.pmstone.com/AircraftGeneral.htm). - Repainted by Jean-Claude Pistoresi "Mangueira", Brasilia 2006. – Intallation very easy and usual. Enjoy these new repaints witch are stricly freeware. - Thanks for downloading them and have a good fly!!!

File Description:
Our second package represents RAF Honington, in Suffolk during 1990. It was here that aircrew who had successfully negotiated the TTTE were trained in the fine art of ground attack techniques, or “mud-moving”. It was also the home to the first GR.1As, which was the UK reconnaissance version; these were given to No. 13 Squadron, who still operates the GR.4A from RAF Marham.
The flight plans are totally fictional, but the movements reflect the type of operation carried out by the units.
