File Description: This is the KLM Convair CV340 as it was painted in the fifties and flew on European routes but also in the Caribbean for KLM's West Indies Division. There was no difference in livery, only in registration and in the aircraft's name. I have redone a former FS2002 repaint for this aircraft and upgraded it for FS2004.

Tiger Moth Repaint- Dutch Air Force - Texture FIX

FSDEM 1.1

File Description:
FSDEM is a graphical tool designed to help on the editing and correction of NASA SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) terrain elevation meshes, and to create terrain mesh scenery to be used in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002/2004.

Program main features:

• Can read SRTM-1 and SRTM-3 HGT file types.
• Automatic reading of HGT files from ZIP files (as distributed by USGS), saving disk space. No need for external decompressors.
• Can read binary raster files. Useful to import DEM data from 3rd party GIS applications.
• Easy-to-build mosaic: just select the HGT source folder and the coordinates of the bounding rectangle, and the program will join the appropriate HGT files into a single working mesh, fully editable, on-screen.
• Ability to load adjoining tiles for better interpolation results.
• Graphical editing of elevation data: selective area filling, offseting, clipping, etc.
• Interpolation capability for missing data (voids) - parametric Inverse Distance Weighted Average Interpolation.
• Edit-enabled zoom modes.
• Multi-level "undo" capability.
• Ability to append overlapping bands to the output BGL (useful to avoid visual glitches caused by adjoining BGL areas).
• Creates BGL files with a single click. No need to manually create an INF file. No need to use Microsoft Resample directly.
• Support for user-supplied additional INF files.
• Ability to export the terrain mesh to a binary raster file for further editing in 3rd party GIS tools.
• Can save the terrain mesh to a BMP picture for reference.

Resort Airlines DC-4

File Description:
This repaint depicts the livery of Resort Airlines as they operated in the last years of their existence. Founded as a charter airline and tour operator they flew to many locations in the Caribbean like Jamaica, Guatemala, Nassau, Havana, Mexico. Resort Airlines ceased its operations in 1960. The repaint shows former Douglas DC-4 United Cargoliner 'Chesapeake Bay' in the livery of Resort Airlines N30064. The oval shape of the cabin windows was disguised to make the airplane look more like a DC-6. Jens Kristenson's great Douglas DC-4 (C-54) is needed. Look for DC4_V10.zip on www.avsim.com or www.flightsim.com.

AERO HOLLAND Cessna T-50 Bobcat

File Description: Re-release of the original repaint due to the loss of the file in the AVSIM hacking mishap. The Dutch aviation pioneer Frits Diepen started the first charter and air taxi company in Holland shortly after WW2. This company was split into a maintenance section (AVIO-DIEPEN) and an airline section called AERO-HOLLAND. Home base was the airfield of Ypenburg, just outside The Hague. Besides other aircraft AERO-HOLLAND had 6 smaller Cessna T-50 Bobcats to perform short to medium haul charter flights. This repaint represents Bobcat: PH-NCL. The Bobcat is now offered as freeware model by AlphaSim.
