File Description:
The original version of this program did not work on computers in countries which use a comma as the decimal separator (apologies for that). Version 1.1 fixes this problem and should work in all countries (including the US and UK) regardless of the format of their decimal numbers. This is the full package, so you do not need to download version 1.0 as well. If the original version is working on your computer, then there is no need for you to download this version instead, as the two versions are functionally identical. This easy-to-use program allows the user to add an ILS and/or a GPS approach to any airport in FS9 or FSX. The user will be able to select the approach in the GPS unit, and request the approach from ATC. The ATC will then vector you to make an ILS or GPS approach. The AI will also be able to use the ILS approach, and you will hear them say so over the radio. The program was designed with the non-expert user in mind, and no familiarity with XML coding is assumed. The program supports up to four FS installations. The program needs to be run in conjunction with AFCAD (or a similar utility for FSX). You will also need the .NET Framework 2.0 and MSXML 4.0 installed on your computer. Tested with XP Home and Pro. This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47A 42-92847 3X-W "That's All, Brother!"of the 438th TCG, based in Greenham Common, England. It was the aircraft that was the lead plane with the parachute droppings on the night of D-Day, dropping men of 502nd PIR of the 101st Airborne Division arond 00:48. It then returned to Greenham Common and later that day pulled a glider to Normandy to reinforce the 82nd Airborne Division. Later it evacuated wounded from France, took part in Operation Market Garden, flew supplies to Bastogne, took part in Operation Varsity, before returning to the US in 1945. It passed through the hands of several private owners, is rumoured to have flwon for the CIA, and was restored as an AC-47 gunship by the Aero heritage Museum in 2004.. In 2008 it went to Basler for conversion to a turboprop BT-67, when somebody recognised the significance of this aircraft. A kickstarter campaign secured the purchase by the Commemorative Air Force, who are planning to restore her to her D-Day configuration. File Description:
FSX/P3D Version 3 of this scenery is a completely new build of SEQM from the ground up. The entire complex is rendered using FSX objects along with the new highway that connects to the highway infrastructure with AI road traffic. The airport is now at a mean altitude that better blends with the newly included NASA SRTM GL1 30m mesh for the region. The tower is at the correct altitude. Buildings use more accurate footprints, new models, floating jetways, and updated landclass, and work seamlessly with the roads added by FTX Global/Vector. Lakes are corrected within roughly 100 square miles. Although the Ibarra/Atahualpa (SEIB) airport no longer exists, there is an option to add it back. Startup files are included to fly from the lakes and the Ibarra/Atahualpa (SEIB) airport. As a “bonusâ€, SEQU was restored in this version, because much of the footprint of the airport still remains as part of its conversion to a park. As such, a custom and fully functional SEQU is included for users who would like to revisit the old airport. AI Traffic can be restored at SEQU by simply using the "Reversed SEQU-SEQM AI Traffic" option. Scenery was created using Airport Design Editor X v1.76.6715, SBuilderX 3.13, and the FSX Object Placement Tool. Scenery objects were added and modified from stock FSX scenery to resemble as closely as possible the actual airport. Bill Leaming's Ramp Lights for P3D/FSX illuminate the aprons.
