Drift Meter Version 2

File Description:
This gauge, for FS2004, updates the drift meter gauge, published on 19 Jan. 2005. It is easier to use, comes with a panel icon, and has improved graphics. It simulates the drift meters used in the 1940's, measuring the drift of an aircraft off its heading due to the wind. In the old days of aviation, navigators had quite a job in windy weather. An advantage of the drift meter is that it has nothing to do with wind direction or aircraft heading. The measured wind drift is used to correct the aircraft heading to maintain course.

File Description:
This second version of "Antwerp port" is a much improved one. The port of Antwerp is the main seaport of Belgium and the second of Europe after Rotterdam. The scenery is made with the Belg7000 scenery version 2.3, which is a scenery improvement for roads, rivers, citys and much more for the whole of Belgium, as a base scenery. This means the Belg7000 scenery version 2.3 from Freddy Bridoux, available here at avsim, must be installed before you install Antwerp port v2.

File Description:
This (updated) panel is an alternative panel for the Do27 of Hannes von der Heide or any other Do27. Most instruments have been newly created in XML on the basis of original Do27 documentation. The panel works properly with FS2004. The virtual cockpit update by Detlev J. Rohmer has been incorporated. Necessary corrections of the aircraft.cfg for correct flaps-settings are shown.
