File Description:
Val-U-Prop is a rogue airline based in Bloomington, Indiana, that flies everything from VIPs to sheep manure anyplace and anytime. VP's motto is "No job too small; No fee too large," and our DC-3's, DC-4's, DC-6's and DC-8's can be seen hedge-hopping into various obscure airports throughout the world. This aircraft is an all-aluminum re-paint of the fabulous DC-3 OH-LCH by Jan Visser, Erik Ellis, Roy Chaffin, Ian Roper and Bill Rambow, to which FS2002 lights have been added. It has military capability, including machine guns and NUCLEAR/GPS/JDAM guided bomb launch. Panel includes everything on main panel, except for GPS and (optional) default radios, so there is no tabbing. The very aluminal wing views were shot by Thomas Klein, and the vintage C-47 cabin was photographed by Tom Turner. Gauges by James Underwood, Ernie Kennedy and Dai Griffiths. This is a simple, direct flight, GPS and ATC guided, that will fly you over some of the most boring scenery in America. Yes, you'll see the deserts of New Mexico; the Texas Panhandle; a bunch of swamps and snake-infested bogs, but, other than that, you'll just see a lot of drastically bad weather. Our Beeleague team made it to New Orleans - but it took a lot of coffee, and severe weather bulletins to keep them alert. If you have a pizza to bake, a shower to to take, a ball game to watch, followed by a Wagner Opera - preferably the entire Ring Cycle - then this is the flight for you. By James Underwood.

English Electric Lightning for AI traffic - The Frightening Part 3. This aircraft is one of the iconic military aircraft of the Cold War era, charged with home defense of the United Kingdom, as well as duties abroad, throught the 1960s - early 1980s. The Lightning served admirably in that role, was exported to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait; and also saw limted combat service in the Arabian penninsular region. After thirteen years of painting, and eight years of abortive attempts to discover the true mysteries of aircraft design, this is my first from-scratch original aircraft to make it to upload. There is a lot of Nick Black influence (and pilot figure) in this model, but the rest of the physical model is all mine, good or bad. This is an 8-LOD model, with all sorts of eye candy listed in the documentation. The painting comes from an age when gaudy heraldic liveries were quite acceptable on tactical aircraft, so this is a painter's dream as well. My intent was to make a very comprehensive offering with a lot of options (and paints), so to that end I am breaking this up into three manageable parts so it won't be a 70MB download. This is part 3, encompassing the export F.52, F.53, T.54, and T.55 variants; collectively containing 23 model options and 22 paints. Please take some time to read the extensive doucmentation, there are numerous credits and instructions regarding this model. Base models, paint kits, and release repaints by Michael Pearson, inspiration by Nick Black, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre, and relentless technical expertise from Steve Holland.

This is a repaint of the DC-3 in Malaysia Singapore Airlines (MSA) colors. The freeware DC-3/C-47 v3 by Manfred Jahn is needed for this repaint. MSA came into being in November 1967 when the governments of Malaysia and Singapore decided to combine operations. Over the years their network expanded greatly with flights to many countries worldwide. However, there were differences in philosophy; Singapore pushed for expanded international services while Malaysia’s officials sought greater development of lengthy regional/domestic routes. This led to very acrimonious meetings between the officials of the two countries from 1971 onward, which led to the dissolution of MSA and the eventual birth of two new airlines; Malaysian Airline System (MAS), and Singapore Airlines which were both formally launched on October 1 1972. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX & P3D v1-3 This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-v3.
