Ireland VFR Small Airports Part 3. This scenery consists of 1. EIKY Kerry International Airport, 2. EIBN Bantry Airfield, 3. EIBR Birr Airfield, and 4. Clonbullogue Airfield.
Kerry is situated in the South West of Ireland and serves as a gateway to the world famous Lakes of Killarney, The Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula. Bantry is ideal for visiting the rugged beauty of West Cork. Clonbullogue is home to the Irish Parachute Club and is situated approximately 30 miles southwest of EIDW Dublin. Birr is almost in the centre of Ireland and is home to a very active group of GA aviators.
The scenery has been created almost entirely from real photographs and all objects have been placed accurately using ordinance survey data and satellite imagery. It also includes animated marshallers, aircrew and passengers together with animated animals and vehicles. Appropriate sound effects have been added to each file together with smoke and strobe lighting. Full night lighting is included, with flood and wash lighting of the aprons and carparks. Each airport has been sub-divided into seperate elements, which can be switched on or off according to the users preference and hardware setup. It caters for GA enthuasiasts and for those who prefer to fly the heavies.
This scenery has not been designed as a standalone, it calls on many objects from my Ireland VFR Small Airports parts 1 and 2. It has also been designed to complement photographic scenery but will also work with the default terrain and I have inlcuded a set of landclass and photoreal textures. It also includes an extended set of photoscenery treescapes. Full installation instructions, settings, credits and tips can be found in the README file.

File Description:
This is a repaint (textures only) of the MAAM-SIM DC-3. You must have the payware MAAM-SIM R4D/DC-3 to use these textures. The original aircraft is available at http://www.maam.org/.
This represents East-West Airlines DC-3 VH-EWE. It was ex USAAF C-47-DL 41-18646, c/n 6007 and had previously served TAA as VH-AER. Purchased by East-West Airlines as VH-EWF in 1955. It was re-registered as VH-EWE in 1958.

File Description:
This sound.cfg replaces the one uploaded in August 2008. Both the interior and exterior sounds have been improved. Please replace the sound.cfg you already downloaded by this new one. In my search for a good sound for the Douglas DC-6/-6A/-6B/-6C, XC-112A/YC-112A, VC-118, the C-118A/R6D-1 series and the Canadair C-5, I struck on the fabulous soundpack for the beautiful Douglas A-26 Invader of Milton Shupe and the Sim-Outhouse Team, made by David C. Copley. Most of the wav-files in this soundpack are recordings of the Pratt & Whitney Double Wasp R-2800 engines of an A-26 Invader. Having studied the Invaders sound pack, I discovered that by ‘tweaking’ the sound.cfg, particularly with regard to the exterior sounds, it became possible to develop a good exterior DC-6 sound (4 engines). No changes were made to the wav-files, as I didn’t want to modify them; the
wav-files just sound wonderful. In order to make your system reproduce the DC-6 sound, first download from www.sim-outhouse.com the great Douglas A-26 Invader package and enjoy flying that plane. Then copy the sound pack of the A-26 to the DC-6, and replace the existing sound.cfg by the revised one you just downloaded. This DC-6 sound has been tested in FS2004 only. Special thanks to David C. Copley who gave his permission to upload the modified sound.cfg as freeware, with limited distribution, at Sim-Outhouse.com and Avsim.com. Nightexpress has dayly scheduled flights between Frankfurt and Coventry. Josef Petric also added some charterflights around europe. This package contains five liveries for the Grumman F7F-3 Tigercat, which you'll find in Milton Shupe & Team's FS2004 Grumman F7F-1, -3, -3N Series (f7ffs9.zip) package. These liveries are featuring four out of the six Tigercats which are currently registrated by the FAA as being airworthy. The original textures were made by Gordon "gman5250" Madison. The repaints are made by Maarten Brouwer.
