This Caribair DC-3 was destroyed in 1972 when used for fire practice. Now she can fly again. Based on Jan Visser's legendary DC-3 model for FS2000, updated for FS2002, this model includes transparent cabin windows, nightlighting, lit 3D interior with opening passenger door, boarding ladder and other details. Includes FS2002 lights fix by Paul Pridmore.

These are textures only for the Default Douglas DC 3. The livery is United Airlines as seen in 1940. The plane is "Mainliner San Francisco" first in operation Jan. 1, 1937 on the Los Angeles to San Francisco route. In 1956 this plane was sold to Bonanza Airlines.

File Description:
VH-ABR is offered here both in her current Ansett Airways livery, as of 1996, and earlier Australian National Airways colours. The aircraft, having been restored by Ansett staff and volunteers, is in wonderful condition today considering that she was originally delivered to ANA in 1938. She flies from Melbourne-Tullamarine, Victoria, Australia and is operated by the Ansett Historical Aviation Group. Based on Jan Visser's legendary DC-3 model for FS2000, updated for FS2002, this model has Wright Cyclone engines and includes transparent cabin windows, nightlighting, 3D interior with opening passenger folding stair door, and other details. Includes FS2002 lights fix by Paul Pridmore. Default panel and sound.

They operated a total of 4 DC-3s in the 1960s until the early 1970s. You need the freeware C-47 v3 (DC-3) by Manfred Jahn. This aircraft was tested on FSX-SE & P3D v3.

There are some challenging approaches again. Watch out for the trees. Includes AI traffic through Traffic Tools with modified AFCAD files. Rwy12 and EZ Scenery libraries required.

VF-1 aircraft showdown 37 planes that day. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need the RealFlight Simulations F6F Hellcat payware package.
