I wish to thank Barry Blaisdell for his kind permission to repaint this fabulous model. These are DXT-3 format textures with no mip-maps to preserve image clarity. File Description:
It was the most important Italian bomber of World War II, this tough three-engined aircraft established a reputation that contrasted with most Italian weapons of the day, and it was flown with courage and skill. SM.79s served widely in the normal bombing role, but it is as a land-based torpedo bomber that the type deserves its place in military aviation history, being regarded by many as one of the finest torpedo bombers of the war. In spite of its cumbersome appearance and outdated construction, with an internal provision for 2,750 lb (1,250 kg) of bombs, supplemented by under fuselage rack for a torpedo, the S.M.79 was a rugged, reliable multi-role medium bomber which did quite a bit of damage in the face of heavy opposition. About 1,300 production models were built over a nine year period. The SM.79 had a distinctive 'hump' on the upper forward fuselage, which housed both the fixed forward-firing heavy machine-gun and the dorsal gunner's position. Its appearance earned the aircraft the nickname 'Gobbo Maledetto' ('Damned Hunchback'). During the last phases of the war the surviving SM.79s were converted into various versions of utility transports and used in that role until 1952.
This "Service Pack" contains:

VC only. This plane was developed for FS9, but it works (it seems without problems) either in FSX. Created by Manuele Villa & ItalianWings, February 2008. Installation instructions included.

The C.202 Folgore was a World War II fighter aircraft built by Macchi Aeronautica and operated by the Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force). Considered one of the most beautiful fighters to fly with wartime Axis forces,the C.202 was a development of the earlier C.200 Saetta,with a more powerful German Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine and with an extremely streamlined fuselage.Undoubtedly the best wartime fighter to serve in large numbers with the Regia Aeronautica,the Folgore operated on all fronts in which Italy was involved.
ATTENTION, this is only an upgrade package,so you MUST have already installed the main package 'c202_v01.zip'and the Expansion Pack 1 'C202_EP1.zip'.
Contains 2 NEW Hi-Res GMax models (2 different versions) feature the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, props pitch and leading edge flaps. Eight (6) different liveries. VC only. GMax Models and Skins by Manuele Villa, Huub Vink & Italianwings, Flight dynamics by Manuele Villa & Kikko Zanaboni. It also works (Tested) subject to some limitations within FSX. This repaint is of the payware Alphasim Royal Navy Merlin HM.1. The real helicopter (ZH 824) was tested in Buena Vista, Colorado in August, 2002 by QinetiQ (formerly the British DERA) as part of the "Hot And High Trials 2002.

Comb Ridge, Rock Point (49AZ), Utah/Arizona, Photo-Scenery (FS9 & FSX)
This scenery extends my Monument Valley scenery to the east. It covers the area between the San Juan River in the north down to Rock Point, AZ (49AZ). Most of the scenery lies on the Navajo Nation Reservation. It completes the southeastern corner of Utah and paves our way into Colorado.
High resolution versions of this scenery for FS9 and FSX (much sharper, but larger and multiple downloads) are available at www.blueskyscenery.com/CNY_South3West6.html . The screenies are taken from the high-res versions, so expect this version to be slightly more blurry. Thanks to Joop Mak for providing custom AFCADs that correct airport layouts so that they align with the photo-textures! They are available at www.blueskyscenery.com/AFCADs.html .
