Zaragoza AB Retro 1958-1962

File Description:
This scenery and its traffic represents Zaragoza AB (LEZG) in the Cold War era of the late 50s to early 60s. Zaragoza was one of three major Cold War US air bases in Spain, the others being Torrejon (also available here and at other sites) and Moron. Zaragoza served as a Reflex base for Strategic Air Command, hosting various B-47 units doing rotational duty at the base along with permanently assigned fighters for air defense purposes. It was shared with the Spanish Air Force which flew the F-86F. All of this is represented in this retro version of Zaragoza AFB including Traffic for 1958 and 1962. This scenery requires the installation of Zaragoza-1 by By Pablo Fernandez de Bobadilla, Jose Ramon Rodriguez and Diego Novillo. Information provided in the installation instructions. Full credit goes to them for the original modeling of the base. We have simply modified the ADE/AFCAD file and flightline elements to take it back to the time of the B-47 bombers and fighters of the late 50s and early 60s. DBWsim: Hickam AFB 2004

File Description:
The second DBWsim scenery pack for the Hawaiian island of Oahu follows up on DBWsim’s Pearl Harbour 2004 with DBWsim Hickam AFB 2004. This scenery pack covers primarily Hickam AFB in the west of the Honolulu International airport region, as well as a significant overhaul of the Honolulu International Airport area. This scenery is designed to complement DBWsim Pearl Harbour 2004 and is intended for use with (but will operate independant of) Bill Melichar’s ‘FS2004, Honolulu International Airport, Version 5’.

Rome Fiumicino LIRF 2005 (FS2002 Update)

File Description:
Re-upload. This downgrade "update" offers the possibility, to use the great scenery "ISD Project - Rome Fiumicino LIRF 2005" in FS2002 (FS8). It removes disturbing elements of the default scenery and corrects wrong or missing NAVAIDS (ILS and VOR). You can download the original scenery here at AVSIM (isdproject-lirf2005.zip). An optimized AFCAD-file (Version 2), that solves some problems of the first version (lirf_isd_afcad_fs2002.zip) is also included. (This is a re-upload of the update file set to replace the original that was lost in the AVSIM hack. Originally added 13th February 2005. No changes have been made)

Petaluma , California (O69) Scenery

File Description:
This is a scenery upgrade for Petaluma Airport, California (O69). This is part Five of a series of small airstrip and minor airfield scenery enhancements which are based on real world data from Google Earth. This is a more complex scenery than previous ones. You can see from the Google earth image that a golf course runs alongside the airport (appropriately called the Rabbit Run!). I have tried to include this with a golf course landclass polygon, also the airfield base seems mainly a red soil and this is reflected in the airbase poly. Built using EZ_Scenery, Lee Swordy's AFCAD and SBuilder. You must have rwy12 and EZ scenery libraries installed for the buildings to show. Both libraries of objects are free; EZ Library is available from this URL http://www.abacuspub.com/pub/AbacusEZLibraries.exe rwy12 from Avsim and additional EZ Custom libraries from Avsim. Search under Scenery design.

Europe SRTM mesh Part 13: Western Spain & Portugal

File Description:
Europe SRTM LOD9 mesh part 13 of 13: Covers Spain west of 4.5°W and Portugal. This Europe SRTM project was optimized for the lowest HDD space use: Each part macthing exactly the boundaries of its neighbors, you'll have a complete corevage of Europe without gap or overlapping scenery. Based on SRTM Data v1 and v2 (3 arcsec, 90m) and sampled to LOD9 resolution (76m). Each SRTM tile was carefully checked and repaired with Blackart v4.02: water areas are now flattened (lighter mesh), and SRTM voids were treated taking advantage of Blackart's sophisticated interpolation algorithm. When required, biggest voids were patched with oversampled SRTM 30 arcsec data and/or manual input.

Allen Army Airfield (PABI) - v2.0

File Description:
TerraModels Scenery Development System by Allen Kriesman and Biber Salsa models were used to create the scenery for Allen Army Airfield (PABI), Delta Junction/Ft. Greeley, Alaska. The FlyII designator for this airport is BIG. The taxiways were added using the program by Peter Jacobson. No custom models were created for this airport. This version replaces files that were missing in the original version.

Fertiliser Works - Awatoto, Napier

File Description:
Situated on the coast, just south of Napier - a familiar sight to pilots around Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. An updated version from my original scenery object - textures also updated. Smoke from chimneys affected by wind. This scenery is located for Christian Stock's NZ mesh in the form of "Mountains of New Zealand" and topo in the form of "Lakes and Rivers of New Zealand".
