File Description: This airport update was made with the latest version of ADE (Airport Design Editor) and made for FSX as a replacement for the stock (default) airport. I've made several changes to the airport which are listed below. All these enchancements are as close to the real airport as I can get with stock library objects. I've used satellite images, terminal photos and maps throughout the whole process so building locations are as accurate as possible. Happy landings in the beautiful Canada! Boston Logan Int'l (KBOS) with active Crosswind Runways

File Description: This is a high spec AFCAD2 for the (Freeware) FS2004 Boston Logan Int'l Airport (KBOS) scenery by Fly Tampa / George Grimshaw. This afcad has been built using FAA Charts and information from the Airport Website. All gates are named and have airlines assigned to them. The Fedex and UPS aprons are represented and can accommodate many cargo aircraft. The final parking area is random GA parking and the various maintenance areas to the north of the airport. This airport now features an accurate tower view. Finally, by using the crosswind runway technique, all runways can be used simultaneously for take-off and landing (see brief). Enjoy!! This file will work with version 2.1 of the airport ONLY (adds the new runway 14/32, new American Eagle gates).

Harbin Y-12

File Description:
Re-upload. Harbin Y-12 The Harbin-Y12 is a Chinese-made aircraft. It has twin turboprops, a crew of two and can carry up to 17 passengers. It is designed to operate from short airstrips. This aircraft has been constructed using Gmax v1.2 and is designed for AI use. However it also flies well as a normal GA aircraft. The aircraft is constructed with as few polygons as possible and with a single texture file to ensure the absolute minimum impact on your framerates. There are two models included. The default has a three-bladed prop, and there is also a four-bladed prop model. Each has a total of 6 LOD models. There are three liveries included. A paintkit for this aircraft has been uploaded also.

Even More Private Strips

File Description:
Even more 'Private Strips' from around England and Wales. When combined with my previous "Private Strips Revisited" upload these will give a total of nearly 500 little airfields, which have been predominantly created to provide a source for GA and microlight ai traffic flights, without having to clutter up the more major airfields. All airfields have parking for (usually) two aircraft and associated taxiways to facilitate their coming and going. Please note :- these sceneries have been designed for use in FS2004 with the original UK VFR Photographic scenery and mesh. They rely for details on the "usual" collections of library objects, specifically EZ-Scenery, UKVFR and Rwy12 libraries. Whilst other configurations will probably work, to a degree, you'll have to try them and see if they suit you. See the enclosed ReadMe for further details.

Sounds Air, New Zealand - 2 Flights - Sep 2006

File Description:
Two little flights - set in the modern era, which is a departure for me - that are replicas of the real-world services offered by New Zealand's "Sounds Air" company. As well as providing scenic flights and charters they also operate timetabled services between Wellington and locations across Cook Straight in the South Island, such as Picton, Nelson and Kaikoura, the latter two being featured here. Their web-site is at ->> http://www.soundsair.com/ <<- and is worth a visit as there is full information relating to the timetables and also some great photographs. The aircraft used in this re-enactment - KLC - is also featured. The FS2004 model - the GA-8 Airvan by Mike Stone - is available at his site:- www.pmstone.com. OPSD Skardu Airport Pakistan

File Description:
This is an airport layout file (AFCAD) for the default OPSD Airport at Skardu in the heart of the Kashmir (administered by Pakistan). This file adds aprons, three GA gates, and three commercial gates of medium size. As the default does not include any parking, without this file, you will not see any AI traffic parked at OPSD. Skardu is a popular base for trekkers and climbers in the Karakoram range, featuring absolutely stunning scenery. The narrow valley of the Indus river is surrounded by some of the highest mountains on earth. OPSD is served by PIA and private charters from Islamabad (OPRN - see my separate AFCAD). I have inclosed a flightplan for the offical route from OPRN to OPSD in standard MS FS format. Tested with WoAI only.

Aero 145 for AI

File Description:
Aero 145 (Czechoslovakia) Four or five seat light twin aircraft manufactured in the late 1940's through to 1961. More than 700 Aero 145s were produced in their various manifestations. While it has been made for AI purposes it is actually a pleasant aircraft to fly and so I have left a link to a DC3 panel for your flying pleasure. This has been modelled with Gmax v1.2 using a minimum number of polygons, and has animated landing gear, ailerons, flaps, elevators and rudder. It has 4 LOD models and a single texture set and is extremely frame rate friendly. It is designed specifically to enhance the AI aircraft population and to use with the marvellous GA-Traffic program by Markus Brunner . Three textures and a paintkit are included.

WIKK Depati Amir, Indonesia

File Description:
Googlyafcad A&F Data file for WIKK Depati Amir in Indonesia, based on Google Earth satellite data. Unfortunately, Microsoft have provided very limited facilities at this small Indonesian domestic airport, served by about four flights a day by airlines such as Adam Air, Batavia Air and Merpati Nusentara, with jets and smaller craft. This upgrade redresses the subject by supplementing the GA parking with gates so that you, and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off realistically. Whilst this file improves the layout of the airport, it is not a full scenery upgrade and does not attempt correct building locations, landclass, taxiway signs or those stupid over-sized filling stations that Microsoft loves to put in annoying places. Regrettably the satellite data currently available is not of sufficient quality to do so.

EIWF Waterford Airport, Ireland

File Description:
EIWF Waterford Airport, Ireland. Waterford Airport is a small regional airport located in the South East of Ireland. The runway is 4,701 feet in length (1,433m) so is only capable of handling GA and small jets. In 2008, Passenger numbers peaked at 144,000 and 29,811 movements were recorded. Aer Arann currently operates a twice daily service to London Southend, 4 flights a week to Luton Airport, services to Manchester and Birmingham, with a seasonal service to Galway and Lorient.

The scenery was designed to be used with vfr photographic scenery but will also work with the default terrain. It includes sound effects, local landmarks, autogen trees and buildings, full night textures, custom buildings with photo textures, custom vehicles, people, aircrew, some animations, vegetation, and the nearby business park. Please enjoy.

Edinburgh with Crosswind Runways

File Description:
A High quality AFCAD2 file for Edinburgh Airport (EGPH) with Crosswind runways. Built using CAA charts, this file gives you all the real life parking and taxiways at this airport, including the newly extended taxiway 'A'. A tower view is provided, and assigned gates for each airline that serves the airport. Both Cargo areas are represented, as well as the GA apron. Using the crosswind runway technique, runways 06/24 and 12/30 will now be used at the same time for take-off and landing. Taxiway 'L' and Runway 12/30 have both been extended especially for this purpose. This pack contains 2 setup Options - you can have asphalt taxiways or concrete taxiways. Requires the feeware FS2004 Edinburgh Airport scenery by Ian Gallacher. Not suitable for the default FS2004 airport.
