File Description:
Thomas Hudner AFB is a fictitious Air Force Base located at Henderson Island, a member of the Pitcairn Islands in the Pacific. Located in a sheltered bay on the east side of the island, the airport features a 7500' x 120' paved runway, several hangars, barracks, and a fire dept. This airport also features a Delta V rocket and launch pad, a container ship being unloaded offshore by hovercrafts, and a small military ship. The default FSX scenery at this island has been completely replaced with custom scenery and terrain based on satellite photos.
This scenery requires the FSX Acceleration expansion pack for all of the objects to show up properly. Also, for some reason, Ground Environment X causes the sand textures to show up as rain forest. This is purely a visual quirk and the airport will still work, but it is up to you. This airport is not designed for FS2004, but you may try it at your own risk. Version 3.0! Seven fictional seaplane bases with helicopter support (three new from v2.0) located south of Juneau, Alaska. Scenery completely redesigned in Gmax for compatible use with Glacier Bay v2, Tongas Fjords, and Misty Fjords by Holger Sandman. All but one spot included one or more helipads, and are intended for cargo distribution and supplies, these seven AKR Stations were also intended to serve as tourism spots for hunting, fishing, skiing, camping, etc. Just fun little spots to hop in a floatplane. No AI traffic in this version, however afcads do accommodate for ai traffic.
All Objects fully designed and completely redone using higher resolution 32bit textures. Optional DXT textures included. Also includes new AFCAD files, animated hangar doors. No AI traffic tracks included with this release, but AFCAD designed to support AI. This v3.0 package is a Full Install (w/ effect file).

| Active ILS - KIAH (G Bush Intercontinental/Houston Airport) |

File Description:
As most know initiating the ILS at certain airports for AI Traffic is not a function at this time when using AFCAD2. If you add a new ILS runway to an airport such as KIAH (G Bush Intercontinental/Houston Airport 8L/26R) only the user aircraft can use this runway when visibility falls below 3 miles. ATC will no longer use this runway for AI Traffic because FS9 sees it as a visual runway and will now vector your AI Traffic back to 8R/26L which is also a Terminal departure runway. This file adds all NAVAIDS for making 8L/26R a Precision Instrument Runway by adding all the radar fixes for both the ILS approach portion and the proper missed approach procedures, altitudes and intersections as per current published plates. All AI Aircraft will now continue to use 8L/26R when Airport conditions are less than 3 miles.
