| Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum Gauge |
|
File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: Reduced Vertical Separation Minimums (RVSM). This small gauge with a scrollable window is designed to give quick reference to all authorized VFR and IFR altitudes (to FL 590) based on the track of an aircraft. It also displays vertical separation requirements at each altitude. Magnetic tracks are monitored and and the active sector is indicated inside the West/East sector windows. The gauge is simple in operation with only two scroll buttons. The display screen is laid out to present all data in an understandable manner and to retain readability even at small gauge sizes. For panel or separate window installation with included icon gauge. By Glenn Copeland.

| Call Sign Nameplate |
|
File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: Call sign nameplate, the one gauge that should be in every cockpit. This gauge will automatically display the ATC call sign for an aircraft up to seven characters. The plate looks great when mounted on the padded trim around a panel. The example graphic, InstallExample.gif, shows the nameplate in the Lear 45.

| sRadar80 Navigational Radar |
|
File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: sRadar80, navigational radar- This nose-mounted, forward-scanning radar will display simulated echoes from ground-based targets that will assist navigation. Screen blips represent FS objects located within the simulator world. With six ranges available (2nm-80nm), cross-country radar navigation and low visibility approaches are possible (see pictures). Scan sensitivity (GAIN) allows adjustments to minimize screen clutter. On-screen wiper scan, push-to-display nm scale, plus many other features. For panel and window installations with included icon gauge. Also, tutorial illustrating a radar approach using the features of sRadar80. By Glenn Copeland

| Altitude Alerter Gauge |
|
File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: Altitude Alerter with Sound- This small gauge will active both a visual and audible alert with message (English) to remind you when the aircraft climbs/descends through any altitude from 100' to 50,000'. Altitudes can be quickly set to desired value. After activating an alert, gauge switches automatically into STBY mode and awaits next altitude setting. By Glenn Copeland

| Tutorial: Gauge Graphics, Part 1 |
|
File Description:
FS2004 Tutorial: Gauge graphics, Part 1. This comprehensive article describes methods for simulating gauge bodies, data windows, controls, and panel cutouts. Shadows, transparencies, text, beveling, feathering, contouring, textures, illumination, plus a host of other techniques are detailed. Over 300 illustrations were used to show how the graphics for an example FS gauge were created. The demo gauge is fully functional and available separately for D/L, file PatGauV1.zip. | FS2004 Plotting Tutorial with fully-functional, free software |
|
File Description:
FS2004 Plotting Tutorial with fully-functional, free software. Tired of Flight Planner calling the shots? Now you can plot waypoints, courses, and bearings to any point desired using the charts inside MSFS. This illustrated, 14-page tutorial shows how to easily measure distances (nautical miles), magnetic/true headings, or bearing to/from navigation aids. Also, how to use the software to obtain accurate panel.cfg coordinates for gauge installations on any aircraft panel.

| Airspeed Reduction Monitor (ARM) UPDATE! |
|
File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: Airspeed Reduction Monitor(ARM). This is an UPDATE to the ARM_1.zip file.
It corrects the reverse thrust problem with the ARM_1.cab file. The original ARM_1.cab file contained an error that only reversed one engine. This update solves that problem. The new CAB file will replace the first version. See info.txt for copy/paste instruction. By Glenn Copeland

| Tri-Altitude Gauge |
|
File Description:
FS2004 Tri-Altitude Gauge. This analog instrument displays pressure altitude, rates of climb/descent, plus radio altitudes. Altimeter needles have been redesigned so they can be seen and read easier. HG window has been made larger so settings can be made at smaller gauge sizes. Vertical speed range plus/minus 4000 ft. Radio altimeter has non-linear scale so lower altitudes are more precise. Upper limit is 5000 ft. By Glenn Copeland

| Fuel Flow/Cutoff Lever |
|
File Description:
FS2004 Gauge- Fuel Flow On/Cutoff. This lever allows the starting procedure for some jets to be more realistic. When the lever is moved to ON, that replaces keypress CTRL+SHIFT+F4 (mixture rich). Moving the lever to OFF replaces keypress CTRL+SHIFT+F1 (mixture cutoff). For safety, one mouse clicks moves the lever to ON, but two mouse clicks are required to move it to OFF. Includes new Lear 45 panel modified for this gauge. By Glenn Copeland.
