East African Airways Douglas DC-3

File Description:
DC3 VP-KJU was called Sagana II and was used by the British Queen during her visit to Uganda in 1954. It was in the original Sagana (also a DC3) that the Queen flew from Nanyuki (Kenya) to Entebbe to board the Royal Argonaut in which she hurriedly flew back to London on the death of her father King George VI. Thus East African Airways became the first airline to carry a reigning British monarch. this is a repaint using the Maam DC3 Cargo unit.

Tucson, Arizona, High-Resolution Scenery - Part 1: Tucson Intl. Airport (KTUS)

File Description:
This is the first part of high resolution ground scenery for Tucson AZ, containing Tucson Intl. airport (KTUS) and 90 sq km around it. The resolution of the airport area itself is 0.3m/pix! The area around is in 1m/pix resolution. Realistic real-world runway textures are provided as well. This scenery is best, when combined with my standard resolution Tucson scenery (TUS2008_LR.zip), which covers a much larger area and matches perfectly in color and everything. B-24 RAAF 7 OTU A72-109 & A72-176

File Description: Re-upload. B-24L A72-109 (ex US 44-41630) & B-24M A72-176 (ex US 44-41956) flew with the 7th OTU RAAF from Tocumwal, NSW between 1944 & 1946. A72-176 last flew on 22 march 1946 and became an instructional airframe. She was sold in 1948 (minus the wings) to George Toye, who kept it under cover for nearly 50 years. At present, she is under restoration at Werribee, Victoria. See www.b24australia.org.au for details. Repaint for the Alphasim B-24 by Jan Kees Blom.

File Description:
FS2004/FS2002 St Georg v1.0 Package. St Georg was built 1927. in a small factory of Svetozar Vlajkovic and Sons in Belgrade. The plane took off for the first time on 14.May 1927 ( piloted by Vladimir Strizevski ). The same year plane participated in the internetational Air Fair in Prag where the old Anzani engine was replaced by Walter. St George was the first officialy licenced civil plane in Yugoslavia ( X-SABC ). Installer for both FS2002 and ACOF. Donationware by Zoran Sivcev, Luka Midic and Goran Savic.

Penshaw Monument Addon

File Description:
The monument is situated on Penshaw Hill, overlooking the River Wear. Its high position means it is a familiar landmark for people over a wide area of north-east England. The monument itself was erected in 1844, designed by John and Benjamin Green and modelled on the Theseum at Athens. It is dedicated to John George Lambton, first Earl of Durham and the first Governor of Canada. Penshaw Hill, on which the monument is built, is associated with the local legend and song about the Lambton Worm

ME309V4 Fighter

File Description:
CFS2/FS2002 ME309V4 version 1.0. An original design by Gerald Lindell. Features full animation including retractable radiator. Fsds2 model by Gerald Lindell, textures by George Lindell and flight model, dp and vc gauges byh Andre van Duin. This plane featured many new ideas such as pressurized cockpit, tricycle landing gear and retractable radiator. There were only four made (V1 and V2) and never made it into production. The BF109G could out turn it and it was judged inferior to the FW190D. If first flew on June 1942.

North American P-51D 4th FG WD-A, WD-B & WD-M

File Description: This folder contains three repaints for the Warbirdsim P-51D Little Friends package, in the colors of 3 P-51D's of the 335th FS, 4th FG, based in Debden, UK, in March 1945. Included are: P-51D-20NA 44-63166 "Ridge Runner II", the second aircraft called Ridge Runner flown by Major Pierce W. McKennon. This was the aircraft in which he was shot down near Neubrandenburg on the 18th of March 1945. Captain George Green landed in a field and picked up his CO in his aircraft WD-M, and both flew back to the UK.; P-51D-10NA 44-14557 "The Duchess", the aircraft of Major William O'Donnell P-51D-20NA 44-6373 "Suzon", the aircraft of Captain George D. Green. He was flying this aircraft on 18 March 1945 when he saw his CO, Maj. McKennon bail out near Neubrandenburg and land in a field. He landed his aircraft in the field as well, threw out his parachute, and both pilots squeezed in the cockpit, took off and flew back to the UK. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Warbirdsim.
