| Gsteigwiler Heliport (LSXG) |

File Description:
A small very accurate heliport of BOHAG near Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland (Switzerland) with surrounding trees, cars, dynamic wind sail and smoke effects. It's also a base of the Swiss Rescue Team REGA. All textures are made with digital photographs and some are with spectacular night lightning. It’s the start of a new generation of sceneries with new features like: blended ground textures, electric power cables, detailed fences etc. AFCAD2-File for an entry in the airport library and in the GPS is available. It's our fifth heliport of the SWISS HELICOPTER DESIGN GROUP.

This is a very detailed version of Ramstein AB in Germany, with custom made buildings, hangars, and objects
on PhotoReal backgrounds. The terminal has transparent windows and interiors. The Landstuhl area with Medical Center is modeled.
Parking spots are coded for several MAIW packages (see readme). The unique style of ramplight at Ramstein was created here,
using video tutorials on making ground light splashes and refracted light "in-the-air". Various common libraries required as
outlined in the readme. Some issues as outlined in readme.

FSX Boeing 747-8i Virgin Galactic with advanced VC by Alejandro Rojas Lucena and VC Textures Upgrade by Enrique Cornejo, founder of the Flightsim Workshop Project. This gives the b747 a payware Virtual Cockpit look and now with green leather tapestry on the sides of the seats. It even has a pilot jacket hanged in the rear of the cockpit (besides the right jumpseat). The panel.cfg and the aircraft.cfg have been assembled and edited by the Flightsim Workshop Team. Now you can pop up "My icons" window in the Virtual Cockpit to easily reach the following windows: GPS, avionics, map, ATC, Climb/Radio Altimeter/Spoiler switch, auto-break switch, throttle quadrant, clock, descent meter, kneeboard and overhead panel. A new feature in My Icons Window I added is a new Pitot Heat switch with ON and Off features, (XML gauge by Enrique Cornejo). cold weather, the Pitot Heat switch works just like in real life, so if its turned off the air speed indicator will stop working, so make sure you turn the Pitot Heat switch on before taking off!
The autopilot ON switches have green lights which make them look more realistic. Center ATC identification in this aircraft is "Boeing 747". We have also fixed the position of the strobe lights so when the aircraft is flying they are in the right place, so turn on the strobe lights switch after take off. The cockpit view from the pilots seat is now more comfortable because the distance between the cockpit and the seat is longer.
The aircraft has new engine views (from both wings) and new Virtual Cockpit interior views from the left, right and central jump seats. The brakes has a differential brake system to make smoother turns in ground. The Virgin Galactic Spaceship texture is wonderful and it has a unique paint scheme by Enrique Cornejo which also includes details such as some stains caused by humidity in the fuselage and the wing flaps and other details just like a real aircraft. Real smoke in the four engines, just select key, more cabin views, realistic cockpit and engines sound & more realistic night VC lights and fuselage night textures, in the VC just select key and reset the overhead Instrument panel light dim switch in the overhead panel. The aileron parameters have also improved, so now the right and left turns are smoother. This aircraft uses the Project Opensky FSX Boeing B747-800 Model OSX748V4_GENX(MDL), and includes the gauge window Posky Utility to view the main stairs, ground cargo servicing, etc. The engine sounds are edited like the real ones with cockpit ambient, so you can enjoy a pleasant flight. The Flight Management Computer (FMC) is fixed and looks like a payware instrument. The VC includes FMC, Primary Flight Display (PFD) and Multi-Function Display (MDF) displayed in the correct size. The virtual cockpit also has an Engine-Indicating and Crew-Alerting System also known as EICAS, Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), working wipers, cabin lights, fire suppression, avionics switch, fuel cross feed, and you can identify those instruments in the overhead panel because they are bordered with color lines. You can also find landing lights switches, taxi light switch, engine generators, APU generator, battery switch, starter switches, de-ice switch, general lights switches which are a great work of Alejandro. So now the whole cockpit and texture upgrade with all these improvements looks better than a payware version. The clock numbers are now in orange which makes them look better and easily recognizable. On 13 December 1966 the Dutch charter company Martinair Holland (MAC), proud owner of a fleet of four Douglas C-47, a Douglas C-54B, two Convair 640, and four Douglas DC-7C aircraft, bought a Douglas DC-6A registered PH-MAM. The DC-6A, which at one time belonged to KLM and could transport 11 tons payload or 97 passengers, was aquired in order to replace the smaller C-54B PH-MAE. It was a very popular aircraft among crew and passengers alike. From the late October 1968 till the beginning of January 1970, PH-MAM flew on the Biafra airlift from the island of Fernando Po to Uli airstrip to provide humanitarian aid, on behalf of the Dutch Red Cross. Having returned from this mission, the aircraft was overhauled and used by Martinair for one more year, before being sold to Yugoslavia. These are textures only. You will need California Classic's FS2004/FSX Douglas DC-6B CB-16 Base Pack, DC-6A CB-17 Base Pack and DC-6A CB-16 Base Pack (available at http://www.calclassic.com/dc6b.htm). Repaint by Maarten Brouwer. Works in both FS2004 and FSX.

| Boeing B-17G 91st BG (LL-Z) "Shamrock Special" |

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP2 B-17G in the colors of B-17F 42-29591 LL-Z "Tha Shamrock Special" of the 401st BS/ 91st BG based in Bassingbourne UK. Before being transferred to the 91st BG, this aircraft flew two missions with the 95th BG, as 'Easy Aces'. It came to the 91st in june 1943 and was assigned to the care of M.Sgt. Bob Dalton as crew chief. His assitent, Jack Gaffney named it 'The Shamrock Special', adnd painted two girls on either side of the nose, and later a third girl on the tail. This was probably the only aircraft in the 91st with three pieces of art on it. In november, the aircraft, while undergoing repairs, was hit by battle damaged Fort without brakes, ironically called 'the Careful Virgin'. The tail end was severely damaged during the collision, and the whole tail end was replaced with the tail of another aircraft that was damaged from the front. On 30 december 1943, she was back in action and completed another 12 missions, for a total of 26 with the 91st.

This texture represents "Milk Wagon" from the 708th Bomb Squadron, 447th Bomb Group. Milk Wagon was the top mission-flying plane in the 3rd Air Division with 129 missions flown.
Mr. August Altese, navigator on the James Young crew, tells of the origins of the aircraft's name:
"Our first mission was June 21st 1944 to Berlin. When we returned to base we were asked what we thought of our first mission out of England as compared to the missions that we had flown out of Italy with the 15th AF. We replied it was a milk run, and named our ship the Milk Wagon and indicated each mission flown with a milk bottle."

TinMouse II Project Boeing 737-230ADV 'Landshut' D-ABCE
Repaint of Lufthansa's Boeing 737-230 'Landshut', Reg. D-ABCE, c/n 20254/230. This aircraft was hijacked by palestine terrorists in October 1977 as LH181 on its way from Palma de Mallorca to Frankfurt/M. The pilot in command, Juergen Schumann, was shot aboard at Aden airport.
After 5 days crew and passengers were freed by the GSG-9 at Mogadischu airport. After 2 months of retirement, the second officer Juergen Vietor
returned back into LH service; his first flight took him aboard the 'Landshut' which continued service for Lufthansa until 1985. She is still in service as PT-MTB for TAF Linhas Areas and she is used for cargo flights...

This will only work on the PMDG 747-8X. That means you must first own the 747-400x and buy the -8 expansion. This is the only aircraft this size and textures allowing this project to succeed so there will not be anymore of this version and it's only for the 747-8x.
This paint took me literally hundreds of hours. It's the hardest yet most rewarding effort I've ever done in a paint. It's the 10th Anniversary 9/11 Tribute. It has EVERY name of all that died that day. The names of the WTC victims are on the fuselage. The names of the Pentagon casualties are on the Right side tail. The engines have the aircraft broken down from flight crew and passengers. Keep in mind there are 4 sides to paint in the kit but 8 sides of a 4 engine plane in the sim. Therefore there are two of each and nothing anyone can do about.
Dedicated to all those that are missing their loved ones, all that died that day (and injured), and all the brave men and women that risked their lives and paid the highest of prices.
