| Douglas VC-118-DO 'The Independence' |

File Description:
This Douglas VC-118-DO was the personal aircraft of President Harry S. Truman. It was named 'The Independence' after President Truman's home town in Missouri. The aircraft was delivered on 1 July 1947 and served from 4 July 1947 on as a presidential aircraft till 1953 when Gen. Dwight Eisenhower became President of the USA. It seems that the rather special paint job was based on an idea by President Truman himself. 46-0505 served on as a general VIP transport till 1966 when it was donated to the Smithonian Institute for preservation. It is on loan to the Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.'The Independence' could accommodate for 24 day or 12 sleeper passengers (in the main cabin). It had a luxurious State Room aft of the passenger door. Usually there was a crew of eight. It is featured here in its original tan, blue and metal livery. You will require Jens B. Euro Link POSKY B767 Package (Final). This is an exceptional package (one of many) Project Opensky Boeing 767. Liveries: Euro Link VA OC & NC, DHL, Air Europa, Air Holland, Air Portugal (TAP), Alitalia, Britannia, British Airways 'Landor', British Airways 'Union', Condor, Icelandair, KLM, LOT, LTU, Qantas, Varig. All aircraft are equipped with professional sounds and a professional panel. He also integrated the up to date Server Info gauge into all aircraft for use with VATSIM. The usual push back gauge is also included along with the crew announcements. A new added feature to this package is V Speed readouts, which were not included in the last release. c/n 10144. Ordered new by Ansett-ANA for Airlines of N.S.W. and delivered 20 February 1960. Sold to Comair in November 1976. Leased to Royal Swazi Air and Air Lesotho between November 1981 and October 1985. Withdrawn from service on 30 June 1993 and broken up in 1998 after being used as a cabin crew trainer. c/n 10264. Ordered new by Ansett-ANA and delivered 9 December 1964. Sold to Comair 26 November 1980 and registered as ZS-KVJ. Withdrawn from service 30 October 1997 and used by Johannesburg Airport fire services. Broken up in December 2001. c/n 10227.Delivered new to All Nipon Airways on 31 May 1963. Also used by Air Polynesie, Touraine Air Transport and British Midland December 1983. Purchased by Comair and registered as ZS-LMZ. Sold to Amazone Linhas Aereas 21 May 1999. This freeware AI package, produced by Military AI Works contains everything needed to activate AMI's 46th Brigata Aerea in FS2004.
The 46th Brigata Aerea 'Silvio Angelucci' is the only squadron committed to air transport within the Italian Air Force, and one of
the most prestigious. the 46th Brigata Aerea is equipped with C-27 Spartans and the most recent versions of the C-130, and hosts a
crew training facility as well as maintenance facilities at Pisa-San Giusto (LIRP). The squadron is divided into three operational
groups. All of these units are included in this package, which contains repaints, AFCADs, flight plans and custom call signs for

Glacier Bay v2 is a complete replacement of the default FS2004 landscape and scenery of more than 90,000 square kilometers (36,000 sq miles) of Southeast Alaska and adjacent areas of Yukon and British Columbia. File 1 of 2 (also requires glbayv2b.zip)
Landscape enhancements include high-resolution terrain mesh, detailed shorelines, rivers, lakes, and glaciers, and accurate land cover data with custom seasonal ground textures. Inland water bodies can be made to "freeze over" via an on/off switch. Other landmarks include the settlements of Juneau, Haines, Skagway, Yakutat, Atlin, and Carcross as well as road and railroad networks, cabins, lodges, and lighthouses. We modeled or enhanced 16 main airfields (plus one fictitious airstrip), 20 unlisted airstrips, 16 seaplane bases, and seven heliports. We've also included AI ship traffic in various locations as well as optional flightplans for GA and floatplane AI traffic.
Glacier Bay v2 is fully compatible with other third-party add-ons, including terrain mesh (FSGlobal, FS Genesis, etc.), ground textures (Ground Environment, BEV, FScene, etc.), and landscape enhancements (Ultimate Terrain Canada/Alaska, Misty Fjords, Tongass Fjords, Freight Dogs). A configurator panel (requires .Net Framework!) allows users to set compatibility options and to choose levels of scenery detail. We provide an autoinstaller and detailed documentation with a sectional map of the coverage area and a list of weblinks to real-world information.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang (with AccuSim), in the colors of P-51D-20-NA #44-63223 QP-S "Sweet Arlene", which was the assigned aircraft of Lt Arthur Reed Bowers of Tiskilwa, IL. He flew with the 334th FS/4th FG from Debden UK, between 16 november 1944 and the end of the war, scoring 6 ground victories, three each on 25 feb and 16 april 1945. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

In mid-1990 it was acquired by Meridiana Spanish Aviation Company, SA, to integrate, along with Canary Airlines, SA (LAC) and Euravia, the draft scheduled airline holding that led, controlled by Shah Karim al-Hussayni, the Aga Khan IV.
