World Challenge Suriana

File Description:
Suriana a beautiful country to do the next challenge in. Here you find yourself flying over rivers to make a landing and flying though the mountain region. Most flight can be done with a Extra 300s but to enjoy the beauty of this country take a Cessna,Baron,or piper. I have added maps and some very useful information about some of the airfields you will be flying into. There are only 8 airfields that you will be flying into, but only five of them are dirt landing strips. This is part of the eastern challenge three country swing going into Brazil.

French Doctors Air Ambulance Beechcraft King Air 350

File Description:
This is a texture repaint for FSX default Beechcraft King Air 350. It is a hypothetical plane, but King Airs are used around the world as air ambulances. The livery is in the colours of french doctors' association "Medecins du Monde", which does a wonderful job in many impoverished areas of the world. I will try and modify the airplane's cabin to fit in a stretcher and medical equipment. This package is freeware and should remain so. To install : 1. Unzip this file to the temporary folder of your choice 2. Follow the instructions of the Readme.txt file

USAF P-51D Tuskegee "70"

File Description:
This is a repaint for both the WOP P-51D and WWII Fighters P-51D. This aircraft, marked 70 was one of the aircraft of the 'Tuskegee Airmen' of the 302nd FS, 332th FG, 15th AF from Ramitelli, Italy. Unfortunately by modern standards, during World War II the US Army practiced a policy of strict segregation of black people, so this Group was entirely manned by black Americans. Their proud claim at the end of the war was that they never lost a single bomber under their escort, which is a tremendous record. Repaints by Jan Kees Blom.

"Crosshairs_Plus" Panel & Model Enhancement Package

File Description:
This is a panel & model enhancement package for the popular FinneyGround Crosshairs_Plus scenery placement tool (chplus.zip), by Gary Mills, Robert Finnegan, and Kevin Bryan (FinneyGround). This package adds a "panel" with a highly accurate XML "Scenery Placement Gauge". Also included is an additional Gmax model, considerably smaller in size and graduated in feet rather than meters. In addition to being an extremely accurate scenery placement tool, this aircraft is an absolute hoot to fly! A minimal 2D panel .bmp aids visual reference from the cockpit while flying the model. Requires "chplus.zip", also available here at Avsim.

Royal Swedish Air Force J-26 Mustang 26031 camouflaged

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Shockwave World War II Fighters P-51D Mustang. This aircract represents a J-26 of the Royal Swedish Air Force. A/C 26031 was previously 44-72220 of the USAAF, and flew as blue Niklas with with 2rd squadron of the F16 wing, based in Uppsala. She was one of only three Swedish J-26 to carry a camouflage paintscheme, the others being 26001 and 26003. She was hit by Harvard 16076 in 1948 and was afterwards not repaired, but used for spareparts. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Milan Zejdlic.

1946 - "Round The Bend" (Nevil Shute, 1951) - England to Bahrain.

File Description:
FOR BOTH FS9 and FSX. This Flight is fictional and is based upon the story "Round The Bend" written by Nevil Shute and first published in 1951. It tells the story of a young man, a pilot, whose personal affairs drive him to leave England and establish a small air-service in the Middle East, a location with which he is familiar, having worked there during the latter stages of WW2. The Flight replicates the route he took when he left England for the first time aboard his de Havilland Fox-Moth. Versions included for both FS9 and FSX.

DC-2 (C42 USAAF)

File Description:
Here's a Douglas C-42 or better known as a DC-2 including an update On James Underwood's fs98 panel with a very good rendition of the Flight instruments of the day. The Sperry Gyro Pilot is used as the main Horizon attitude instrument on the early airplanes, thought to be reliable Enough to stand on its own but according to Ernest Gann (Fate is the Hunter) Did tend to fail at times leaving the flight crew with the basic needle ball and Airspeed instruments. Later most airlines including KLM supplemented it with A gyro horizon for the captain’s side.

Lismore Regional Airport

File Description:
LIsmore Regional Airport for FSX (YLIS) This is an updated version of the original FS9 scenery. Lismore airport, situated in northern NSW close to Byron Bay and Ballina, operates 52 weekly flights on Rex airlines to Sydney and has a large maintenance facility and a number of GA hangers. The terminalis modernistic in design and has a display of Aboriginal artwork. This scenery includes land class and water class and a photobackground blended to the normal textures. File Description:
This program has been created for the purposes of quickly being able to determine the payload of your aircraft based on the number of passengers boarding your flight. The following values were used to calculate the total payload: If its winter: 174lbs a person If its not winter: 170lbs a person Carry on bags: 16lbs (max 1) for domestics or 2 for internationals Checked bags: 30lbs (max 1) for domestics or 33lbs (max 2) for internationals It is assumed that every passenger has a carry on bag and a checked bag, and 2 of each on international flights.

Barrage Gouin - Gouin Dam

File Description:
Barrage Gouin (CTP3) - Gouin Dam(CTP3) is a real bush destination in the central portion of the Canadian province of Quebec. It is a popular fishing destination. This accurate scenery contains many of the real buildings, chalets and docks near the dam. Bush pilots on wheels, there's a runway south of the dam near the river. There's also another outfitter (CB31) scenery north-west of the dam with a sand runway. You can takeoff from Quebec city (CYQB) (see Gilles Boily's scenery) or Trois-Riviere (CYRQ) and fly north to the dam. See the readme file for more informations.
