It has been a few years since my last visit to Nepal/Himalaya, amazing place - amazing airfields. Hoping to give you a small taste of the real
adventure of flying there I created This FP which contains the following six short routes east of Kathmandu:
Kathmandu - Lukla - Rumjatar - Lamidada - Bhojpur - Tumlingtar - Kathmandu.The runways (except Kathmandu) are all grass/dust, although i think
that Lukla gots an asphalt one by now.I have used A Beechcraft King Air 350 plane, weather clear, 12.00' local time, visibility 48Km/30 mi.
If you want to try it hard (i am sure you do so after a while) change the weather conditions to storm/heavy storm.
Included -in friendly printable version- six images as well (one for each flight) which contains a map view and a Navigation log as layedout at fs, so
that you can have the hands on the stik all time and enjoy the flights without a stop.

I am proud to present this detailed repaint of the Aryus Works freeware model of the Cessna Citation Excel, registration OK-SLX, in Silesia Air's striking, elegant livery. This stunning aircraft shows up around Europe and turns heads wherever she goes. Silesia Air is based at Prague Ruzyne Airport and is a small airline specializing in providing executive, private air service to its clients throughout Europe. Silesia operates this single Citation Excel as well as a Citation XLS+, a 560 V and a 525 Citation Jet. There are a lot of curves on this aircraft and I paid attention to painting their detail and creating as realistic a repaint as possible on this work. The textures in this repaint are 32-bit. I hope you enjoy flying this as much as I enjoyed painting it. This is a complete install; Aryus Works Citation Excel model and air files are included. Panel and sound are from the default Lear45.

Piaggio PD-808 Version 2.1. All variants included (RM, GE, TA, TP, Civil).
V2.1 brings improved virtual cockpit performance, advanced sound effects, advanced fuel systems simulation (a component requires FSUIPC), some operational procedure corrections and minor bug fixes. FSUIPC is optional however (needed for a very rarely used control).
The Piaggio PD-808 is a light twin turbojet aircraft that saw service with the Italian Air Force until 2003. They were employed as trainers, VIP transports, Navaid Calibrators and ECM platforms. A single machine, registered I-PIAL, was used by Piaggio itself as a corporate transport. This simulation includes in-depth avionics and systems, completely working overhead panel, some failure modeling (when it is improperly operated), pressurization system, and vintage style autopilot. Includes 2D panel, 3D virtual cockpit, and a sound package with special sound effects. It is very important to read the manual before flying! For V2.0 users, a short "update manual" is included.

File Description:
Ants Aussie Airports Vol 5 : RAAF Tindal is a military base about 290kms south east of Darwin near the town of Katherine in Australia's Northern Territory. Tindal is a major front-line operational air base and home to No. 75 Squadron Air Combat Group (F/A-18). There is also a civilian apron in the north west corner of the airfield. This scenery contains photoreal ground textures and these are designed to blend in with the payware FTX textures (available from www.fullterrain.com). It is therefore recommended that you have the FTX textures installed if you wish to see this airfield at its best. I have tried to make this airfield as accurate as possible although as Tindal is a military base there aren't a lot of photos available so a lot of the hangars are "educated guesses". Almost all of the models have been custom made with the use of library objects kept to the minimum.

| Mackenzie River close to Tulita CZFN in Northwest Territories Canada |

I discovered, while testing another airfield near the Mackenzie River, that along the side of the Mackenzie adjacent to Tulita, and for a considerable distance, there was a cliff of water. I have no idea if my version of Ultimate Terrain has developed a fault or if this has been caused by the installation of a terrain mesh that now argues with UT for some unknown reason. Whatever, it was impossible to leave it as it was. I have included a screenshot of the cliff further upstream. To avoid the cliff of water I have flattened that area of the Mackenzie River and the adjacent river banks and both the town and the airfield to a height above sea level of 400 feet. This does not reflect the real life situation but is the lesser of two optical evils. I have included a screenshot of the flattened area. If you do not have a problem then you do not need this. If you too have a cliff of water then you might want to try this. It does not completely get rid of the problem, but it does get rid of it in the area visible when landing or taking off at Tulita.

YTTI Troughton Island - ShoreAir operates Troughton Island airstrip as an alternate to Mungalalu-Truscott. It has a 980m x 30m unsealed runway. Troughton Island sits 6 metres above sea level on a natural reef. Troughton is managed by two people who spend one month at a time on the island. During that time they are almost completely isolated from the outside world. Although they are isolated they are not alone; previous occupants of the island brought in quails and children's pythons that were once pets that escaped their cages during a cyclone. Now there is a healthy population of snakes living off the quails. Today Troughton Island is maintained as an emergency landing area for aircraft that are unable to reach Truscott. It also serves as a landing area if Truscott is inaccessible due to weather conditions. The Bureau of Meteorology has a weather station on Troughton island. Mungalalu-Truscott aerodrome supports all the FPSO (floating production storage and offloading facility) operations in the WA and NT waters of the Timor Sea, while the alternate aerodrome at Troughton Island is 20 nautical miles north of the main air route to Timor Sea facilities. The ARX-5X (Concept 5) is a single-seat unlimited category aerobatic aircraft built around the 495c.i. 600hp Trace-Orenda OE600 V-8 aircraft engine and designed specifically for freestyle airshow type aerobatics.
Version 2 has a totally new airfile and flight dynamics - the plane can easily handle compulsory competition maneuvers as well as more advanced gyroscopic maneuvers such as lomcovaks and tumbles.
The ARX-5X cruises around 200kts, with a never-exceed speed of 240kts. This FSX native model contains animations, reflections, environment mapping, spec mapping and a full dynamic virutal cockpit. Although it is not a real aircraft it does have several real-world components such as the Chelton Fligh Systems EAU (engine airdata unit) display, and a Hartzell "scimitar" swept blade propeller.
This release is not a quick & dirty update simply "ported" into FSX, it is a full FSX rebuild by the original authors, compiled with XtoMDL and conforming the FSX SDK using dds textures and new modeling techniques for the best overall end-user performance. Includes 2 configs, 7 models, and 20 schemes with a custom smoke system and night time pyrotechnic effects. Aircraft, effects, and panel by Jason L. Terry and Mike VIvaldi. Aditional Skins by Brady Duros and Joshua B. Nyhus.

| F/A18 Hornet |

File Description:
The F/A-18 Hornet is an all-weather aircraft used as an attack aircraft as well as a fighter. It was designed to replace both the A-7 Corsair in the light ground attack role, and the F-4 Phantom which operated in both the air defense and ground attack roles. It compliments the F-14 Tomcat and can be operated from forward airstrips for the U.S. Marine Corps. In the fighter mode, the F/A-18 is used primarily as a fighter escort and for fleet air defense; in the attack mode, it is used for force projection, interdiction and close and deep air support. The F/A-18 currently equips the majority of Navy and Marine fighter-attack squadrons and will ultimately replace the F-14 Tomcat as it has the F-4 Phantom, the A-4 Skyhawk and the A-7 Corsair II. The Blue Angels flight demonstration team has used the F/A-18 since 1987. The final Hornet to be built was rolled out of Boeing's facility at Patuxent River, Maryland, in August 2000. Over 1,400 Hornets were built and over 1,200 are now flying in fifty-five active duty, reserve and test squadrons, as well as in seven foreign countries.

File Description:
This FSX Airport is more then just a AFX style Airport. As most know the Approach and Final (VMC) for AI Traffic in FSX is a straight in type landing and does not always consider high terrain at airports. This is due to the way that the coding is written in FSX and it puts limits on IFR arriving aircraft. At certain airports the AI Traffic will fly directly through a mountain once it is established on Final for a runway. What you will see with my files is a different type approach used for both the way I control AI and User Airplane Traffic in FSX. No longer do the AI Planes use a straight in approach when landing at LOWI. My AI Aircraft Approach coding for FSX uses a visual offset approach so AI Traffic does not fly through the mountains. The Innsbruck Control Tower will clear all AI Traffic (IFR FP) landing either on RWY 08 or 26 as a straight in landing even though the offset to final is 30 degrees from the runway center line. A repaint of a great flight model, the AI-AARDVARK EMB-120 as a private or
Businessaircraft. There are an increasing number of these around... thisis just one
idea for a color scheme for one. I have not included a registration number.. that is
left up to you as to what number (based on where it is you want to fly it) and where
you want to place it.
Also.. in the complete model you will find a panel file ... the only item in that
file is a rear view in case you are like me and like panels that offer cockpit views..
I use a slightly modified panel that comes with the Project Fokker F100/70 series.
This rear view is of an executive interior, sadly I could not find an exact one for
the 120, however after comparing many interior shots, I have really found little
difference between the interiors of the EMB120 and the ERJ135...although I am sure
there are, at least visually they seem close. Close enough that I included a rear
view of an exec 135 i case you choose to "Gussy up" a 120 panel with a luxury
interior shot. To me, at least... the interior dimensions are close enough for
government work... hope you enjoy. ANy questions or comments.. please, would love to
hear from you as I am still new at this and am using only the standard Microsoft
paint program that comes with Windows... have never mastered the paint pro
programs... no matter how hard I tried.
