Special thanks to Sergio Dolcemascolo (aka DBolt), for his great Improved Stock Model F4U-1A and to the unknown original author of the default F4U-1A Texture files which I have modified to fit the unmirrored model. This is not an authentic paint, but it is different, and deserving of a little flight time. Unmirrored with modified texture, and new damage files. Enjoy!

File Description:
F4U-1A #883 Bu.17883, VMF-214 1st. Lt. Bob McClurg - December, 1943. This aircraft was also flown by Maj. Greg Boyington. Note that the paint is weathered and has a lighter, grayer hue, that matches many of the original photos of this aircraft. You must have DBolt's Improved Stock Model to use this skin. Enjoy!
