Aerosoft F-16 Performance & Handling Upgrade - VIPER 2.0 Package Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a performance upgrade package for the payware Aerosoft F-16 (NOT the version available through Steam!). Aerosoft made an awesome-looking airplane with realistic cockpit details, cool g-vapor effects, but the way it flew was...well, not so great...until NOW. With this "VIPER 2.0" upgrade, your Aerosoft F-16 will fly like the REAL THING! 9g turns, 8-Point Rolls, Double Immelmans, Cuban-8's, etc, etc, etc. Cue up your favorite F-16 demo on YouTube and follow along! Or, head out to your favorite mountain region and enjoy zooming through the canyons at 500 feet and 500kts! (the Alps north of Aviano AB are awesome fun!). After this upgrade your Aerosoft F-16 will be one fun-to-fly flight sim jet! **For those of you who downloaded and installed my first "VIPER Upgrade" about two years ago, the improvements in this version are... Adjusted Rudder/Nose Wheel steering sensitivity for a softer, more realistic "feel" while taxiing & flying. Ailerons have a "smoother/softer touch" for those tiny adjustments made on final approach Adjusted drag factors on spoilers, flaps and gear to get optimal final approach AOA, airspeed and better "throttle authority".

Messerschmitt Bf 109G-2 "Black 6" Download

File Description:
This is a repaint only for the Flight Replicas Bf-109G. This aircraft was fully restored to flying condition and operated for several years at Duxford and unlike every other flying 109G, Black 6 is a real "Augsburg Eagle". The aircraft was built in Leipzig in 1942 and saw brief service with JG 77 in Libya, flown by Lt. Heinz Ludemann. The aircraft, having been grounded due to damage, was captured by Bobby Gibbes and the RAAF with the allied push westward. It was Bobby Gibbes' plan to fly it back to Australia as a war prize but being that it was the first captured G model orders had it sent to Britain for RAF evaluation. The aircraft then was put into storage after the war, being brought out to the public from time to time - every September for Battle of Britain day. In 1991 it flew for the first time again since 1945. In 1997, while performing at Duxford, it was involved in an off-airport ground loop which caused major damage to the airplane but thankfully the pilot survived with very little injury. The aircraft was fully restored following the accident and now can be seen at the RAF Museum, Hendon.

Crosswind Runways for California Central Coast Scenery for FSX with CCFSXMSG.ZIP or CCFSXMS.ZIP Installed Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This scenery contains several revised files for my previously uploaded California Central Coast sceneries CCFSXMSG.ZIP and CCFSXMS.ZIP. These are the versions of my CCC scenery for FSX with MegaScenery Earth. The "G" version also requires Genesis Terrain Mesh but is the most complete version. Included here are revised AFCAD files for the major airports in those sceneries which will add interesting crosswind capability to C80, PRB, SBP, SMX and SBA airports. Additionaly, revised AFCAD and associated files for IZA, LPC, L52 and VBG are included. In some cases ground traffic has been added, a few glitches repaired and minor improvements effected. The crosswind AFCAD's for the 5 airports with tangential or crossing runways were revised using the technique developed by Jim Vile and executed by Airport Design Editor (ADEX). This procedure will unavoidably bolix up the ATIS runway advisories at the 3 tower controlled airports with ATIS (SBA, SBP and SMX) but will make all of the runways useable for AI traffic depending on wind conditions. This is not a problem at C80 and PRB since they are uncontrolled fields and have no ATIS available. Therefore, I've included revised AFCADs for SBA, SBP and SMX that do not have crosswind provisions that can be substituted if desired.

Italian Air Force, Lockeed F-104G "Starfighter" Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Lockheed's F-104 "Starfighter" was sleek, sexy, and difficult to fly. Essentially a J-79 turbojet with tiny wings and a place for the pilot to sit, it had a poor turning radius and very unpredictable behavior at high angles of attack along with very high takeoff and landing speeds. Its strength was never in its agility, but rather in its speed. The type was the only aircraft in existence at the time that could sustain speeds of over Mach 2.0, and it had a stellar rate of climb. The "Starfighter" was an icon among jet interceptors throughout the 1970s. It was built also in Italy (G version), under licence. The first Italian F-104G flown during the end of 1962 and the last one (S version) was retired from active service in 2004 (42 Years !!!).

Textures only for two "Starfighters" of the 9 Gruppo of 4 Aerobrigata of the Aeronautica Militare Italiana (Italian Air Force), the first unit to receive the "Starfighter", based on Grosseto Airport, Italy, 1963/64. These textures require a legal copy of the payware Alphasim F-104G. The paints were done with the paintkit provided by Alphasim/Frank Safranek and the metal base textures provided by Henry William. Repaint by Manuele Villa.

Brooks Fuel Douglas DC-7C (N90251) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Textures for Tom Gibson's Douglas DC-7C - repainted by Manfred Meyer. You need to download and install the latest Douglas DC-7C base pack with model, sound and panel from the website calclassic.com.

These textures depict N90251 (c/n 45367) originally delivered 1958 to Transports Aeriens Intercontinenteaux TAI as F-BIAQ, later to Madair Madagascar and from 1964 on with UTA for the French Air Force as 85-CB (F-ZBCB) and served for the french nuclear program in the Pacific. Later the DC-7 was equipped with large radomes on top and beneath the fuselage for tracking satellites and missiles. In December 1978 GCA bought the plane, registered it as N90251 and leased to Petroleum AT. From 1979 to 1982 the aircraft was stored and then in September 1986 bought by T & G. Aviation. For conversion to a spray plane, a 25 000 liter tank was brought into the cabin through the entry door in pieces and welded together inside. N90251 served as sprayer in Morocco and after returning to USA in 1995 Roger Brooks from Fairbanks bought the Seven and used it for transporting bulk fuel to remote settlements and mines in Alaska, using the former spray tank.

Library Object Manager Download

File Description:
Library Object Manager is a utility designed to manage your collection of FS9 library objects. It does not work with API Macros (API Manager from ScruffyDuck Software can do that). Functions include importing object information from FS9 library bgl files; from SBuilder, RWY12 and EZ-Scenery. Categorizing objects by user defined category, by library name and by author. Exporting object information so that it can be used by SBuilder, RWY12, Object Placer XML, EZ-Scenery, and SceneGenX. Creating library files from your collection of .mdl objects. A quick placement function to allow you to place objects into your scenery for testing, creating thumbnails etc. A more extensive object placement program (Scenery Maker) which is similar in concept to RWY12 and Object Placer XML. This program is currently in Beta and further developments are planned. It may therefore not work entirely as expected although it has been tested by a number of kind and helpful users. LOM Requires Mirosoft dotNET Framework 2.0; bglxml.exe from Alessandro G. Antonini; FSUIPC from Pete Dowson for the scenery creation function to work; and bglcomp from Microsoft (included in this package). PLEASE read the included manuals before using the program. Support is available from my website www.scruffyduck.plus.com.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A North American T-6 Texan/Harvard in the colors of North American T-6G F-BJBF of Air France, 1962. Originally built as 41-33931 (c/n 88-14948), it went to the RAF as EX959. It was used by the 20 Service Flying Training School in Rhodesia from January 1943 onwards. After the war, it was transported back to the UK, where it was sold to the Belgian Air Force, where it became H-9. It flew from Brustem until 1959. The Belgian Air Force then sold it to Air France, with 14 other Harvards, for use at its flight school in Pontoise Cormeilles en Vexin, west of Paris. It flew with Air France until 1965, when it was sold to Mr Urbain of Cannes, who flew it in Air Esterel colors until 1971. It then went to the UK, becoming G-AZJD. It remained based at Biggin Hill until 1984, when it went back to France as F-AZDU, being bought by Guy Robert, a former Mirage pilot who recieved his training in the '50's on a Harvard in Marocco. In 2001 it was sold to John Colors SL in Barcelona, but it retained its French registration of F-AZDU. It is still airworthy, based at Sabadell in Spain.
