cfs2/Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat Mk-I RAF E-L Serial #JV-131.The Jv-131 was a Grumman Hellcat Mk-I (originally to have been Gannet Mk-I) of the Fleet Air Arm, corresponding to the F6F3. This aircraft was probably with the 800 NAS aboard the HMS Emperor on September 10, 1945 when the carrier sailed into Singapore harbor to restore British rule. Painted over The B24 Guy's F6F-3 Overhaul Model. Note black and white invasion stripes on fuselage and upper and lower main wing surfaces. Code letters are red, outlined in white. cfs2/Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat Mk-I RAF Fleet Air Arm E-F Serial #JV-???.This aircraft (serial number unknown) was part of the 800 NAS aboard the HMS Emperor in mid 1944. The new generation "Cat" provided the 800 Squadron aircrews with a superior air carrier fighter. The HMS Emperor was to become the eyes of the admiralty in flying strike aircover and artillary spotting thtoughout Operations Overlord and Dragoon. Painted over The B24 Guy's F6F-3 Overhaul Model. Note black and white invasion stripes on fuselage and upper and lower main wing surfaces. Code letters are red, outlined in white. Complete Texture Folder with all texture and damage files included. cfs2/Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat Mk-I RAF J Serial #FN-373, Fleet Air Arm. This aircraft was of the 1839th NAS. Taken from B&W photo, Eglinton, 1943 (not to be confused with the HMS Eglinton). Painted over The B24 Guy's F6F-3 Overhaul Model. Note: From the faded B&W photo it was impossible to get the true color (or tint) of the aircraft. However, it appeared to have some camo. Note the order of placement on the aircraft code marking from one side to the other. This is not a mistake, this was how it was actually applied on this model. CFS2/Grumman TBM-1 Avenger MK-II JZ-456 RAF Fleet Air Arm 854 NAS - June, 1944. This paint was copied from an actual photograph taken just days after the D-Day invasion, over southern England. This aircraft was from the 854 NAS, operating out of Hawkinge on anti-submarine patrols under the Command of No 157GR Wing- RAF Coastal Command. Note fuselage Code Letters - 4P. For Squadron history, check readme. Painted over The B24 Guy's TBF Avenger. All Texture and Damage files included. By revev. Enjoy!
