File Description:
FSX V-SPEED GAUGE: A V-Speed gauge, that when installed into an aircraft panel will calculate the V1, V2 and V3 takeoff speeds for civilian aircraft, regardless of load or flap settings. The readout will be displayed in an easy to read format in the 2D cockpit, and also includes aural sounds for 80 knots, V1, Vrotate, and V2 speeds, at which point the VSI should show a positive rate of climb. Original gauge for FS2004 by Jacob Larsen (JEL), and modified for FSX by Anthony Eades.

File Description:
The De Havilland Vampire was the aircraft that brought the South African Air Force into the Jet age. It came into service in South Africa in 1950, replacing the Spitfire and served as front-line fighters until 1956, when the Sabre replaced them. They were then used as trainers until 1972 when the Impala (AERMACCHI MB326) finally replaced them. This aircraft (Nr. 277) is still flying, operated by the South African Air Force Museum in Pretoria. It has full animation, including an opening canopy, a dynamic virtual cockpit, full lighting effects and a checklist.

The custom dynamic virtual cockpit has animated controls. Working landing and taxi lights that are visible from all views. Textures are handpainted, 32-bit and reflective, with specular highlights. Liveries include Continental, Virgin Blue, plus 7 Southwest paints: Arizona One, Maryland One, Nevada One, New Mexico One, Shamu and the standard blue and tan liveries.
