I recently saw an article with photos of an Icelandair heavy landing in Antarctica.
It was carrying researchers and tourists to the Norwegian Troll Research Station.
This is a representation of the airfield and station. Ice runway and apron. Fuel available.
A driveable Icebus is present to take your passengers from the airfield to the research station.

SCENERY for FSX ONLY ETAR Ramstein AB Germany
This is a very detailed version of Ramstein AB in Germany, with custom made buildings, hangars, and objects
on PhotoReal backgrounds. The terminal has transparent windows and interiors. The Landstuhl area with Medical Center is modeled.
Parking spots are coded for several MAIW packages (see readme). The unique style of ramplight at Ramstein was created here,
using video tutorials on making ground light splashes and refracted light "in-the-air". Various common libraries required as
outlined in the readme. Some issues as outlined in readme.

The "new" airport built in the late 50's is modelled here
with the iconic hotel/ control tower complex, the new terminals and air cargo center, and some custom built hangars for
Caribair and others. A flight line for the F-86's stationed there is provided. A few custom built high rises are tossed in.
There isn't much eye candy included, so you can add your own! Approaches are designed on old Jeppeson charts of the period.
The usual additional libraries required. Some AI thrown in, too. Recommend CalClassic AI.

But for the cheap at heart (like me), here is a freeware offering with custom made modern terminal, funky tower, added free-standing gates to handle the AI traffic (artistic license invoked), and more. Transparent windows for interior decorating.My usual libraries required. Also highly recommended is Jean-Marie Guieau,s St Martin photoscenery upon which I built this, so buildings, runways, etc line up (see readme). See disclaimer also in readme.

This library adds a large number of US Air Force Alert hangars used for fighter planes in the late 1950's and 1960's to the 48 custom made FS2004 military style hangars, buildings, and objects from various locations in Vol 1 and 2. Many still exist on current bases. 3 types of Alert hangars are modelled in the new addition: Butler hangars, Strobel and Salzman, and Luria, all in open and closed versions. This is a revision and update of one of my first sceneries, KMAF 1962 for FS2004, now done for FSX. All original components are updated to FSX, while many models are redone completely for better textures and improved frame rates. Features interiors with night lighting, restaurant, ticket area.
Parking coded for Cal Classic 1962 AI traffic.
