File Description:
This scenery makes Uppsala air base (ESCM) functional in FS2004 and FSX by adding taxiways, taxiway signs, aprons, parking stands, buildings and navaids.
From 1943 to 2003 the air base in Uppsala was home to the Royal Uppland Air Force Wing (F 16). Today the base is classified as a training airfield, but is also used for military transport operations and limited civil flying, mainly ambulance flights and a flying club.

Re-upload. FSX/FS2004 NGAT Douglas C-54A Skymaster. Immediately after WWII had ended in Europe, KLM director Dr. Albert Plesman travelled to the USA. He visited President Harry Truman and succeeded to persuade the President to have a batch of 18 Douglas C-54A Skymasters delivered from the Surplus Property Board, in order to (re-)establish several medium- and long-haul routes and - from February 1946 on - the KLM Indies route from Amsterdam to Jakarta, then named Batavia. For several reasons, a.o. the sensitive political situation with regard to Indonesia (by then still a Dutch colony called Netherlands East Indies), the aircraft were purchased by the Netherlands Government Air Transport and carried military roundels and serial numbers, although they were used as civil aircraft. Later on they were sold on to KLM and received civil registrations. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's great Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (dc4_v21.zip). This folder contains a repaint for the Lockheed L-10A Electra by Just Flight, in the colors of RCAF # 7631, L-10A c/n #1013 which was built as a Model 10A. Purchased second hand in the US, had been NC14261, operated by Northwest Airlines from February 1935. Civil registration CF-BRD may have been assigned for ferry flight to Canada. Taken on strenghth by the RCAF on 27 june 1940 as 7631, flying with 122 Sqn. It was converted to 10B standard by 21 July 1943, Wright engines being replaced with Pratt & Whitney Wasps. After the war, it went on Canadian civil register as CF-BYU after being sold, registered to Maritime Central Airways of PEI on 24 August 1945. To Trans Gaspesian Air Lines of Gaspe, PQ in November 1956. To Air Gaspe in 1962. This registration re-assigned by 1970. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by JustFlight
