| KLM Douglas DC-4-1009 PH-TAT |

Re-upload. FSX/FS2004 KLM Douglas DC-4-1009 PH-TAT. This was the first 'real' DC-4 delivered to KLM, on 16 March 1946, following the delivery of 18 ex-USAAF C-54 Skymasters. The aircraft was registered PH-TAT, named 'Twenthe'. This DC-4 and the sistership PH-TAP were the only DC-4/C-54's that wore this short-lived livery. From PH-TAR on KLM's DC-4's (and Skymasters) featured the famous 'The Flying Dutchman' livery. As PH-TAT, PJ-TAT and PH-DBT this aircraft served KLM in Europe and the Dutch West Indies until it was sold to Air France on 3 June 1958. After having flown with Trans Europe and Vargas Aviation it was impounded in July 1975 by the government of Niger and stored. The DC-4 has probably been scrapped since. These are textures only. FSX and FS2004 Canadair C-5 North Star. Developed from the Merlin-engined C-4 North Star, the C-5 was really a short-fuselage DC-6. | FSX Basic Compatibility Update #1 for the MAAM-SIM R4D / DC-3 / C-47 CD |

File Description:
This update allows owners of the MAAM-SIM/DC-3/C-47 CD for FS2004 to install and use the FS9 aircraft in Flight Simulator X. If you are not an owner, you can obtain your copy from the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum Store www.maam.org and help a great organization restore some marvelous airplanes in the process. The update primarily addresses some changes in the panel and aircraft configurations, and gauges. It will also install thumbnail pictures for the FSX Select Aircraft Menu in FSX. Later MAAM-SIM updates will address further changes in FSX, including visual and flight dynamic changes. Updates all sixteen aircraft on the latest 9th Edition R4D/DC-3/C-47 CD, but can be used with any past edition of the CD. Includes illustrated installation instructions.

| Douglas DC-4 (N88756) Transocean Airlines |

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas C-54 / DC-4 by Flight Replicas. It shows Douglas DC-4 N88756 in the colors of Transocean Airlines it wore between 1952 and 1957.
N88756 had c/n 10397 and was built with USAAF number 42-72292. It became Bua 50849 with the USNavy. It flew with Alaska Airlines and Guest Aerovias Mexico before coming to Transocean in 1952. It 1957 she was sold to Thai Airways, before going to Africa in 1962, where she flew in Rhodesia and Botswana, before flying in the Biafra Airlift as VP-YTY with Air Trans Africa. She was destroyed on June 28 1969 at Uli, Biafra during the airlift.
A repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Flight Replicas.
