Douglas DC-3 Buffalo Airways (2)

File Description:
Two Buffalo Airways DC-3s accurately rendered in cargo and passenger versions, with dedicated DC-3 panel. Both these aircraft are in service today, operating out of Hay River and Yellowknife, Canada. C-GPNR was acquired in October of 1980 and is Buffalo's most commonly used DC-3 for scheduled freight service. The distinctive C-GWIR joined the fleet in 1981. Based on Jan Visser's legendary DC-3 model for FS2000, updated for FS2002, these models include transparent cabin windows, nightlighting, lit 3D interior with opening cargo doors/pax door, boarding ladder, cargo both inside and outside the aircraft (freight version) and other details. Flight Dynamics are by Erik Ellis, Jan Visser, Roy Chaffin, Ian Ropper, & Bill Rambow. Includes FS2002 lights fix by Paul Pridmore. Paintwork and Buffalo Airways panel by Mark Beaumont. Also includes flightplans CYHY/CYZF/CYHY, with map.

File Description: Douglas DC-6/C-118 Liftmaster for AI Traffic. The DC-6 propliner has enjoyed a 60+ year service span, with around a dozen airframes still in service for cargo work, VIP charter, and aerial firefighting. In conjunction with Jake Burrus, I present an 8-LOD AI traffic model to bring this iconic transport aircraft to the flightsim world. This package includes 22 models, 102 repaints, and a Photoshop paint kit. The paints in this package mostly focus on DC-6 use from the 1970s to present day, to include all current in-service aircraft from four operators. I am also including some effects specific to the DC-4 package which were not included in that release file. Aircraft model and master textures by Jake Burrus and Michael Pearson, flight dynamics and repaints by Michael Pearson.

Douglas DC-6 ver 2.0 for FSX

File Description:
FSX Douglas DC-6 ver 2.0. This package includes the DC-6 in its earliest form with short nose (no weather radar) and round-tipped Curtiss Electric propellers as delivered to the first DC-6 customers in 1946-48. The later aircraft had the more well-known, square-tipped 'paddle' propellers, and this version is included as well. Most, if not all, of the early DC-6's were later modernized to this standard, and many (especially from the U.S. operators) had weather radar installed in a longer nose. This package contains most variants, including liveries for American, United, Delta, Panagra, SAS, Sabena and KLM, nine aircraft in all. The KLM repaint is by Maarten Brouwer. Model by Jens B. Kristensen. Flight dynamics based on work by FSAviator. For FSX only; FS2004 users should get DC6_V20.zip instead. By Jens B. Kristensen.

DC-3 Faucett Peru Virtual

File Description:
These repaints were designed and created specifically for 'DC-3 FAUCETT' by César Renteria P. and Ian Richardson, with much appreciated input from Andy Hatcher, Trevor Morson and 'DC-3 faucett' members. Otherwise, it's all down to Microsoft for giving us such a spectacular sim in FS2004. Please bear in mind that these files are reworked as freeware from Microsoft originals, and thus are only of any use to users who have purchased FS2004; they must not, under any circumstances, be bundled in commercial products of any kind or included in any package that is charged for or sold. This is a complete file, also you can add a new panel if you want.
