| QANTAS Empire Airways Avro Lancastrian C.1 for FS2004 |

File Description:
These textures represent VH-EAT, an Avro Lancastrian C.1 that was in service with QANTAS Empire Airways between 1945 and 1947. The textures are for use with Paul Edwards and Manfred Jahn's Lancastrian Mkii which can be found on AVSIM under http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=103414. Installation instructions are included in the README file.
Immediately following the cessation of hostilities in 1945 the world's airlines were faced with a dire shortage of equipment with which to resume intercontinental services. As an interim step, converted bombers were used. One such was the Avro Lancastrian. This variation of the Lancaster bomber was developed in Canada by Victory Aircraft of Toronto who stripped an Avro Lancaster Mk III of its guns and turrets, installed a pointed nose and faired out the tail. Further refinements were later carried out by the parent company, Avro, and the result was a 13 seat airliner. Qantas Empire Airways operated four of them on their London to Sydney route, an odyssey which took four days of hard travel.

File Description:
FS 2002 & 2004. Key replacement textures for the Passenger and Cargo versions of 'DC-3 Airways' liveries found in DCAMAAMP.ZIP and DCAMAAMF.ZIP respectively. Also requires the base model of the GMAX MAAM-SIM DC-3A available from www.maam.org. Saved in DXT3 format without mipmaps, these textures are designed to replace the original 32-bit images for users seeking to maximise texture refresh rate or who operate slower computers. Image quality, although reduced, remains excellent on most systems.

This is a repaint of the Lockheed L-1011 in All Nippon Airways ANA contemporary Triton blue colors. The freeware L-1011-100 by Thomas Ruth is needed for this repaint. This repaint depicts ANA L-1011 JA8508. This particular aircraft spent its entire life with ANA. It was delivered on December 16 1974 and withdrawn from service in July 1995. Textures are DXT5. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

A repaint of Free Sky Project's (ex Project Opensky) FSX Boeing 747-400D model with the colors of All Nippon Airways' "Pokemon Jet" livery registered JA8957. A hand-painted repaint in Photoshop. Model included. VC Merged with the default 747. Sound aliased with the default 737 (though there's a suggestion in the readme file). ANA uses this for Japanese domestic flights. iFDG is proud to present the Airbus A320. The aircraft model includes most of the standard features including animated control surfaces, wingviews, flaps, full lighting configuration, highly detailed, reflective textures, and dynamic shine. This example is painted in the scheme of Qantas airways. The aircrafts textures are saved in 32 bit for optimal quality. This aircraft is regestered as VH-XSR "Coolangatta" I have added some dirt effects, so the aircraft looks a little grubby. Enjoy!!

This is a repaint of a DC-7C in Saturn Airways 1966 colors. The freeware CalClassic DC-7C by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson is needed for this repaint. Saturn operated 10 DC-7Cs and CFs from 1963 to 1968 when they were all phased out. This repaint depicts N90801 which was acquired in 1964. Textures are 32bit bmp.This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX & P3D v1-3. It should also work on FS2004.

This is a repaint of the Douglas DC-7C(F) in Overseas National Airways - ONA 1963 colors. The freeware CalClassic DC-7C model by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson is needed for this repaint. DC-7-CF N293 was purchased from Northwest Airlines in 1962 and was with ONA till 1964 when it was bought by Sudflug. Textures are 32bit bmp. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX, P3D v1-3, & FS2004.

Scottish VA The MATVA Group present this revised pack of textures for the excellent Project Fokkers v2 F100/F70 package. Included are the previously released "Capercaillie" (US Division) and the new "All Africa Air" textures for both the F70 and F100's. Our thanks go out to Project Fokker for the excellent model which just happens to be one of my personal favourites for FS9. The original Capercaillie Fokker download had nearly 800 downloads, we think that's not bad for a VA texture :O) Feel free to come along and join us at www.matva.org.uk.
