On Mark A-26 Marksman

File Description:
Utilizing the WWII A-26 airframe, the On Mark comapny of Van Nuys, California began converting Invaders to executive transports following WWII with their first examples designated the Marketeer. The epitome of comfort for the executive air traveller was found however in the further developed Marksman. The Marksman featured a significantly re-manufactured fuselage incorporating full pressurisation and a radical modification allowing a substantial increase in internal cabin space. All Marksmans featured the addition of wing tip fuel tanks as well as increased tail surface dimensions to compensate for the higher power engines offered in various models. Out of approximately sixty Invader airframes modified for civilian use by On Mark, only about a dozen were full Marksman conversions. For all effects, gauges, and the excellent A-26 sound package by David Copley, the original SOH A-26 Invader is required to be installed before installation of this aircraft. Included in this package: model by Milton Shupe with Marksman modifications by John Terrell, textures by John Terrell, 2D panel and gauges by Rich Murray, flight dynamics by Jerry Beckwith and Tom Falley, pilot figures by Jan Visser.

Boeing B-29B Superfortress - base package

File Description:
FS2004 Boeing B-29B Superfortress (mania) base package. The Boeing B-29 Superfortress was very close to every aviation engineers dream back in the late thirties and early forties of the 20th century. She was designed to fly higher, farther, faster, safer for their crews and with more damaging payload than any other plane before in the history of mankind. And she did those tasks well.

Visual model by Tom Kohler based on previous freeware source from various designers - huge credits included! Accurate, 'hand flyer' Flight Model by Tom Kohler, built using Flight Model Workbook version 2.84.40 from mudpond.us and based on the 1% B-29A flight model from Gregory Pierson from avhistory.org. An Installation 'Wizard' will help you install the Multi-resolution GMAX model, including clickable virtual flight deck, fully animated, reflective textures with dynamic shine also in the VC, gauges from Microsoft CFS2, backlighted VC gauges, custom effects, HTML Checklists and Documentation. Sound package originally from Skysong Soundworks (b24snz.zip by Aaron R. Swindle). PRE-RELEASE had over 9,000 downloads.

General Electric CF6-80 - 767v3 - "Matched FDE"

File Description:
General Electric CF6-80 v2 soundpack simulating the engine type fitted on the Boeing 767. This is a quite major rebuild of the first Boeing 767 GE soundpack I made in February 2005. I've spent a lot of time tweaking and listening to how the the engines spool-up and I think the results are quite pleasing. Soundset is matched with the flight dynamics engine to make flying a lot more enjoyble. Instead of taking off with 100% thrust to really hear the turbofan and letting the speed rocket up to 240 in seconds and then have to decrease the thrust to 30% to not pass 250knots, you now can take-off with 85-90% of thrust, make a very smooth take-off roll and controlled climb. A recommended N1 setting (thrust) is 85-90% for take-off! New features in this set: Matched to use with the Project OpenSky Boeing 767v4 family flight dynamics engine exclusively (this pack might not work correctly with other 767 planes), New spool and turbofan sound for the interior as well as the exterior, New cockpit environment, Cockpit environment can now be turned off when pushing the "Battery on/off" button (for those panels fitted with these), New interior and exterior APU (These sound kicks in when engines are turned off). Bell X1 - Glamorous Glennis

File Description:
The Bell X-1 was the first aircraft to break the sound barrier, a feat which it accomplished on the 14th October 1947 by reaching a speed of Mach 1.06 at an altitude of 43,000 feet. This model was created using FSDS 3.0 and features all animated control surfaces, undercarriage, suspension, and reflective textures. Flight Dynamics were done by Bob Chicilo who also added an afterburner effect and smoke.

JAL Cargo Airbus A340-600F

File Description:
Japan Airlines does not currently look at becoming the launch customer of an eventual A340-600F; therefore, this repaint is purely fictional. The A340-600F has been fictionally designed to replace early-generation 747s that serve as freighters. This bird can fly 245,000 lbs of cargo at 5,300 nm. Included therein are the base pack, Ken Mitchell's Airbus twinjet panel and the Trent 500 sound set. Enjoy the flights.
