Stanford Torus Space Station v1.5

File Description:
Updated with MUCH nicer and smaller textures!! What will future space colonization realistically look like? What is it like to approach a rotating station almost 2km in diameter? The Stanford Torus is based on a design created during a 10 week program in 1975 held at NASA’s Ames Research Center and Stanford University. The project participants considered how to create a practicable permanent colony in space using existing technology at minimum cost. The habitat is over 1800m in diameter and spins at 1 rpm to provide 1g of pseudo-gravity. Package includes a scenario to fly from the ISS up to a GEO rendez-vous with Stanford, as well as documentation on the station itself. INSTALLATION: You need Vinka's spacecraft.dll to use this add-on. A link is provided in the documentation. 1. Unzip files into your Orbiter directory, preserving the directory structure in the zipfile. 2. Load up the Stanford scenario in the Stanford directory in the Orbiter start window. 3. Enjoy the trip!

File Description:
The 6600' long St. George airport in southwestern Utah sits high on a mesa! You grasp your armrest hoping that you will become airborne before you fall off the cliff...Or just after landing you are nervously waiting for the pilot to apply the brakes as the end of the runway rushes up to meet you before you fall into nothingness! Such is the fate that awaits the pilot or passenger that ventures to the Saint George, Utah airport. Actually, it is a very safe and delightful airport to base your flights from. Visit Southern Utah and see the many sights that await the adventurous soul. Take a trip from KSGU to Moab-KCNY or KVEL and marvel at the diversity of the landscape. ( I upgraded those 2 airports also.) While designed for use with Ultimate Terrain, this enhancement should work with the default FS2004 setting. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the simple installation instructions.

1945 - Harry Levy's Flight - Oban, Scotland to Dar-es-Salaam, Tanganyika in an RAF Sunderland MkV

File Description:
At 1805 hours GMT on April 2nd. 1945 an RAF Short Sunderland Mk.V took off from the waters of the flying boat base near Oban, in Scotland. With the war in Europe nearly over, men and materiel were being transferred to the Far East, where Japan continued to defend its home islands with great ferocity and determination. The ten-man crew of the Sunderland included young Harry Levy, the navigator. Harry, now a resident of Canberra, Australia, was a Sergeant in the RAAF attached to an RAF aircrew and was being transferred to Dar-es-Salaam to join 259 Squadron, RAF. Their trip was to take them some 6000 nautical miles, over a period of 20 days (with a lot of that being spent in Gibraltar whilst engine repairs were carried out) and with more than 48 hours spent aloft. They departed Britain in the springtime and arrived in east Africa in autumn. This is the FS9 recreation of that journey.

AI FlightPlan hh:mm:SS Seconds Remover

File Description:
Most flight plans that I have found have just hours and minutes for the flight times, but some have seconds aswell. eg 13:15:00 or 04:30:43 This program takes text files, finds the flight times, and removes the seconds. This may be necessary for some applications.

FStarToFS2K V 1.1.3 - Update 1

File Description:
FStarToFS2K provides the possibility to convert Jeppesen FliteStar/FliteMap(R) 8.x/9.x Version Flight Plans to Microsoft Flight Simulator(R) 2000/2002/2004/FSX or Lockheed Martin Prepar3D(R) Flight Plans, thereafter called MS FS or LM P3D Flight plans. Meanwhile Flight plans for Ted Wright's NAV3.x, Alessandro Antonini's Super Flight Planner, Radar Contact, SquawkBox and Alain Captain's ACS-GPS can be produced as well. It provides an intuitive interface and an extensive help system.

Remarks: This Update contains some minor changes to the program and the help file. In order to use this Update you must have at least FStarToFSK V1.1.2 installed, best is FStarToFSK V1.1.3 preinstalled!
