A collection of 28 additional and corrected airport names, for use with Flight Simulator 2004 and FS2002. Installation requires the EditVoicepack software by Lars Møllebjerg which is also available free download from the usual Flight Simulator download sites such as Avsim. MRE Mara Serena, Kenya

File Description:
Googly scenery for Mara Serena, Kenya, a small airfield serving the Mara Serena Safari Lodge in the Masai Mara National park. The original metalled runway has fallen into disuse and these days a rough dirt runway alongside it is used by the twice daily flights of Air Kenya Express to and from Nairobi and the occasional light aircraft. Flight Simulator 2004 has made no provision for traffic with only a runway provided and this scenery seeks to redress the situation. The airport has no ICAO code (MRE is the IATA code) but Microsoft Flight Simulator has created an unofficial ICAO of HK0A. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.

1962 Beechcraft B33 Debonair for Flight Simulator 2002. This is a replica of Geoffrey Applegate's real life Debonair. This full package includes almost a fully functional 2D panel with 2D side views taken in flight, 3D external model made in Gmax with 9 different paint jobs (N1768G, N885T, RealityXP, N7991M, KLM, N1768J, G-COLA, D-EIWF, and ZK-MET), two varients (straight and v-tail), and 3D virtual cockpit. This is a complete package from the previously released version, and includes all patches up to this point. You do not need to download anything else for this version to work. This set of files is a scenery enhancement for the Air Force Flight Test Center, Detachment 3, or AFFTC Det. 3, for short (more commonly, but erringly, refered to as "Area 51"). This package includes a faithfully reproduced digital rendition of the original area based upon the true footprint of the real-world airstrip near Groom Dry Lake, Watertown, Nevada. This scenery is fully set up for all of your AI traffic needs, and is, I believe, the most accurate representation of the Groom Lake Facility to date.
