ForceFeedback Utility - Version 2.50

File Description:
FS2004 Force Feedback Utility - Version 2.50 (Supports all versions of Flight Simulator and Combat Flight Simulator). If your FF Joystick shakes violently on taxi the Aircraft is probably not configured for Force Feedback. This utility will add the default Flight Simulator FF codes to the Aircraft.cfg file eliminating the problem. It also allows the installation of your own custom FF codes if desired. Requires VB6 Runtime (vbrun60.exe) files. Freeware.

Water Reflection Replacement Textures

File Description:
The Golden Eagles Squadron presents alternative sparkling water with sun and moon reflection textures. They add a more dynamic quality to the fs2004 water with sun glints and vigorous wave action as would be seen on a sunny windy day. Caution, these textures are only for DX9 compliant cards and will not work unless you can move the "Water Effects" to High in your display options! We hope you enjoy them and visit us often at the Golden Eagles Squadron.

The default milky "white/green" texture is highly unrealistic in very grey overcast conditions such as we often find here in Europe.The replacement texture will change this to a more convincing "blue/grey" cast. It should be understood the default "milky green - overcast water texture" colour is dependant on the display settings. The replacement texture supplied will only work on DX9 compliant video cards. You must be able to move the "Water Effects" slider all the way to the right! If not then don't install them as you won't be able to see them!

Version 2 has a darker blue/grey than my version 1 and presents a more realistic colour and in particular it's much improved in "dark overcast" conditions. Version 2 also offers better transitions from "overcast" conditions to "clear" conditions. It should be understood the default "milky green - overcast water texture" colour is dependant on the display settings. The replacement texture supplied will only work on DX9 compliant video cards. You must be able to move the "Water Effects" slider all the way to the right! If not then don't install them as you won't be able to see them!
