File Description:
This FSX Airport is more then just a AFX style Airport. As most know the Approach and Final (VMC) for AI Traffic in FSX is a straight in type landing and does not always consider high terrain at airports. This is due to the way that the coding is written in FSX and it puts limits on IFR arriving aircraft. At certain airports the AI Traffic will fly directly through a mountain once it is established on Final for a runway. What you will see with my files is a different type approach used for both the way I control AI and User Airplane Traffic in FSX. No longer do the AI Planes use a straight in approach when landing at LOWI. My AI Aircraft Approach coding for FSX uses a visual offset approach so AI Traffic does not fly through the mountains. The Innsbruck Control Tower will clear all AI Traffic (IFR FP) landing either on RWY 08 or 26 as a straight in landing even though the offset to final is 30 degrees from the runway center line. HMS Bounty V1.2 Update for FSX Previous VERSIONS.
Built Specifically for FSX - (separate package required for FS9 versions). By Milton Shupe, Nigel Richards, Rob Barendregt, Sasha Rieger, and Rob Ibey. Helmsman by Craig "Full" Richardson.
The update simply replaces the Panel folder for the HMS Bounty.
WILL NOT WORK IN FS9 as it contains FSX native texture formatting and FSX specific sim interfaces. (Separate FS9 package available.)
Version 1.2 upgrades:
1) Further improvements regarding wind effects on yaw and roll based on the confluence of sails deployed, wind speeds and direction relative to ship heading, yard arms angle to the wind, and ground speed.
2) Auto-Skipper greatly improved for high winds and gusts to minimize the showing/hiding of sails and improve roll with gusts.

This update allows owners of the MAAM-SIM B-25J 'Briefing Time'CD for FS2004 to install and use the FS9 aircraft in Flight Simulator X. Requires previous installation of the MAAM-SIM B-25J 'Briefing Time' for FS9 CD into FSX. If you are not an owner, you can obtain your copy from the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum Store www.maam.org and help a great organization restore some marvelous airplanes in the process. The update primarily addresses some changes in the panel and aircraft configurations, and gauges. It will also install thumbnail pictures for the FSX Select Aircraft Menu in FSX. Later MAAM-SIM updates will address further changes in FSX, including visual and flight dynamic changes. The update can be used with any past edition of the 'Briefing Time' CD. Includes illustrated installation instructions.
