Includes model, textures, VC, Passenger's views, full animated parts. GAUGES NOT INCLUDED: you have to download MR. FRANCISCO SILVA's wonderful panel: "fsconcpn.zip" wich will also provide afterburn effects. FOR FSX uses default B747-400 PANEL, so gauges will not appear on VC mode (so sorry...). Other files suggested: "nlf_v2.zip" and "njs_final.zip" (BEAUTIFUL lights and smoke effects) by Nick Needham. Also MR. FSX Glass Cockpit Mini Panel that many of you requested is intended to replace the global default minipanel or my previous analog mini panel. The mini panel is made up of freeware Glass Cockpit LCD instruments. This gives the pilot a common set of LCD gauges to use on multiple aircraft. Many pop-up windows available to keep the main mini panel uncluttered. Additional navigation and control surfaces gauges are provided. Information is provided for wind direction, drift, ETA, ETE, direction, distance and name of the nearest airport; direction and distance to the next waypoint set in the GPS; and radar/absolute altitude. Karol Chlebowski�s TFR gauge is included that allow flight at extremely low altitudes. Also included is Dietmar Loleit new TCAS gauge for FSX. Extensive tooltips have been provided on most gauges.

Update! New version fixes WideViewAspect setting not working in the earlier version. It also lets you see the last profile that was applied. Please uninstall the earlier version, and then install this.
FSX Settings Editor lets you create fsx.cfg profiles for different scenarios which you can quickly apply to your fsx.cfg file. Create different settings profiles and switch between them quicker than ever before. Some of the scenarios for which profiles can be created:
- Flying Rural Areas with Light GA Aircraft (Graphics can be set High)
- Flying Dense Urban Areas (Graphics can be lowered to improve FPS)
- Different profiles for flying VFR, IFR, max weather, min weather max terrain etc
- Testing out different settings to achieve max FPS with acceptable eye-candy
I created this tool to help me quickly change my FSX settings to the type of flight I intend to perform. Manually editing the fsx.cfg file, keeping separate copies of fsx.cfg file for different scenarios, or using the limited FSX save config functionality proved cumbersome and time-consuming.
Please backup your fsx.cfg before using this tool. Comments, issues, questions or suggestions are welcome.

Not configured FSX is a pain in the neck for many people. A small number of fps and frequent CTD (crash to desktop) can be extremely annoying or even depressing to some users. A lot of you probably came to a conclusion that it was going to be a losing battle and you gave up after a few fruitless days or you spent money on the FSPS-XTREME FSX PC V2 program, which can automatically do practically everything for us. But what's the point of spending money on something that we can do by ourselves with the help of this handbook?
I myself was dealing with the FSX platform three times before I gave up FS9. Microsoft gave out the engine to us, but in order to make sense, our passion involves radical tuning of the device. On the ground of one's own experience and thousands of hours devoted by people to diving into the core of the platform, I'll present a way of installation, add-ons selection and their configuration starting from the installation of the system. Having done the procedures described below, FSX will look beautiful and it'll work smoothly even with challenging sceneries. The entirety is based on quite a popular hardware configuration, which will let us use 85% of the graphic potential of Microsoft Flight Simulator X. We want t to achieve the goal of minimum 25 fps in VC B738 PMDG NGX, with challenging sceneries, flying in the window mode. For the mode the full screen efficiency should reach 33 fps.
In this handbook, I'm neither going to describe each and every change made in cfg nor explain what the alterations are to conduce. You will be given a simple and ready recipe which I use myself. I can't guarantee a 100% satisfaction for the poorer equipment computers. I can assure you, however, that FSX will definitely work so much better and playing with FSX sliders or with the size of textures in REX you will be able to obtain the desired effect.

This freeware archive contains a set of gauges, effects and sounds which
you can add to tailhook-equiped aircraft in FSX, and enables you to
perform takeoffs and approaches/landings on aircraft carriers (static AND moving !!).
It features:
(1): A catapult gauge, enabling a catapult-launch takeoff.
(2): An arrester gauge, enabling a cable-arrested landing.
(3): A IFLOLS gauge, enabling accurate approaches and landings.
(4): A SonicBoom effect (visual and audible) plus controller gauge.
Includes extensive installation/usage documentation.
Requires prior installation of FSUIPC.
Special credit goes to Doug Dawson; without his (included) interface gauges
(a.o. for speedcontrol, lauch/arrest zone definitions and soundplaying) this
package would not exist.

Welcome to Bob Hope Airport (KBUR) in Burbank California. KBUR is one of my favorite airports to fly into. Runway 8 is used for landing and if you are long and still in the air you better do a go-around. Some may remember when a Southwest 737 punched through the fence and ended up on N Hollywood Way. There is an EMAS there now. Hangar 71 is open and you can start from there by selecting "Parking 54" for your start. I added a couple of vehicle paths that cross both runways to keep the vehicle traffic off of the taxiways All runways and taxiways conform to the current FAA Airport Diagram (copy included). All the structures are new.

Welcome to Reno Nevada! The Reno airport has been updated for FSX. All of the structures are new. Taxiways now conform to the current FAA Airport Diagram (copy included). The new tower complex is rendered. The Nevada ANG facility is updated. Both fire stations are updated. You will see airport vehicles using their vehicle paths all over the airport. Fedex and UPS as well as other cargo operations are reproduced, as is the Customs facility.
