File Description:
One of the most disputed world explorers was, no doubt, Marco Polo. Even today, the descriptions of his life and adventures in China are considered a mixture of his own experiences and tales from his father end uncle. Nevertheless it's worthwhile to try and follow his travels which brings us to places we might otherwise never see! It is only logical to select an Italian plane for this project: Manuele Villa's beautiful FIAT G.18V. The default FSX Chinese airports are not sufficient to cover Maro Polo's travels within China, therefore it is necessary to install Winfried Orthmann's scenery china_airports_1,_2,_3, and _4!

On 26 August 1768, Captain James Cook sailed from Plymouth, England for a three-year voyage around the world. On 26 August 1938, his ficticious great-great-grandson Capt. James Cook and his crew took off from Plymouth in his Imperial Airways' Short S30 LR "Cabot" flying boat to follow this example in 39 flights. Download and install Jens B. | ENFG_Fagernes/Leirin, Norway for FSX |

File Description: The airport ENFG is situated about 4 kilometers northeast of the city of Fagernes in the municipal of Nord-Aurdal, Oppland, about 120 miles northeast from Oslo.
The altitude of ENFG is 822 m / 2,697 ft. The airport is very close to the important rocks of Jutunheimen. The senery has a photo background that covers all four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. The surroundings are made via new landclasses which fit mostly the reality. Also all lakes and rivers are updated. The buildings in this scenery are mostly taken from the fantastic XPlane scenery made by Hans Kristian Braaten Olsen, who kindly gave me permission to use his buildings in this scenery. I prepared them for FSX and partly reworked them a bit.

File Description:
Welcome to Portland International Airport for FSX!
The City of Roses is in the process of revamping KPDX. Many of us have spent time on Concourse A
waiting for our Horizon flight. Many have utilized the ground level walkways on Concourse E to
get to their United Express flight. Both are things of the past.
KPDX is now a primary Alaska Airlines hub. This summer British Airways will start service to London
Heathrow.
The runways have been adjusted to their current length. The taxiways have been corrected (this is
particularly important at the juncture of 10L and 21 which used to overlap). A copy of the current
airport diagram is included.
All the buildings (with the exception of the tower) are custom. Airport vehicles use
the proper vehicle paths and do not use taxiways.To achieve this I had to add a vehicle path that crosses
10R and another that crosses 03.
Three scenery complexity levels are used (normal,dense, and very dense). More eye candy appears with each
increase.

File Description:
On 27th of December, 1831 Charles Robert Darwin sailed from Devonport, England for a five-year voyage around the world on HMS Beagle and returned almost five years later on 2nd of October 1836. On 27th of December 1941 our journey begins in Devonport, near Plymouth in the Imperial Airways' Short S30 LR "Cabot" flying boat to follow this example. Since Charles Darwin also made many in-land journeys on the South-american and Australian continents, a flying boat would not be practical; instead we use the FSX default DC-3 for our continental flights. This is a repaint of the MD82 in Alisarda colors. The freeware Eagle Rotorcraft Simulations' (George Arana) MD82 native FSX conversion with VC, of Erick Cantu's MD82, is needed for this repaint (Link provided). The textures are 32bit DDS. It was tested on FSX-SE, but should work on FSX & P3Dv3.
Alisarda leased two new MD82, which replaced the DC-9-32s, in September 1984. Again, they had Swiss registration; HB-IKK, and HB-IKL. In 1987 the fleet was further strengthened with a third MD-82; I-SMET, which was delivered new from the McDonnell Douglas factory on 21/5/87. 1988 marked the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the company, and in that year a fourth MD-82; I-SMEV, was purchased and put into operation. Al in all, seven MD82s served Alisrada, both leased and purchased, upto the merger with Universair on September 1 1991.

File Description:
In 1519, Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan led a Spanish expedition with a fleet known as the 'Armada de Molucca' to reach the Moluccas or Spice Islands, that resulted in the first circumnavigation of the world in 1522. Upon the death of Magellan in the Philippines in 1521, Spanish navigator Juan Sebastián Elcano led the expedition in the return trip to Spain. The following planes are required: Consolidated_PBY5A_Catalina.zip and fsx_sikorskys-44_updated.zip. Read the enclosed Wikipedia article "Magellan's circumnavigation" before flying!
