American Airlines 747-SP31 repaint for the Project Open Sky 747SP v4 series. American purchased two SP's from TWA. The colors and logos depicted here are accurate to the best of my ability. I've been interested in historic 747's for several years now. These liveries are familiar to me as an outgrowth of my experiences with the Historic Jetliners Group. The metal textures for this repaint were created by Yannick Charland, my colleague from the Historic Jetliners Group. Coming soon I´m going to upload the missing textures, that the painter Juergen Baumbusch forgot to paint the textures of the next registrations: MCS Aerocarga XA-MCB, AVMAX Group XA-MCD, CRJ-100F XA-MCH, Big Tail Logo XA-MCN or put all the missing registrations.

Special thanks go to Jarink, who is a repainter in IL-2/PF. Jarink was kind enough to send me his layered photoshop files of the Noseart that I used for these repaints. I also used his repaints as a guide for my repaints.
This texture represents "Honky Tonk Sal" one of the B-17G Flying Fortresses of the 385th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force.The B-17G started seeing action with the 385th in November, 1943 and continued until the end of the war. The Checkerboard group markings on the tail were adopted in February, 1945.
"Honky Tonk Sal" assigned to the 548th squadron. This aircraft was in service from 1943-11-19 to 1944-03-15, which then she was salvaged.

This is a repaint of Just Flight's Boeing 737-300 in the new Sterling Airlines colors for the TRAFFIC AI addon. Sterling Airlines A/S is an Icelandic owned low-fare airline, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was created in September 2005 through the merger of two Danish airlines - Sterling European Airlines A/S and Maersk Air A/S - which had been bought by Icelandic investment group Fons Eignarhaldsfelag a few months before. One month after the merger, Sterling Airlines was sold to the FL Group. In December 2006, Sterling was sold to Nordic Travel Holding. On 6 January 2006, Hannes Smárason, CEO of the FL Group, stated that a merger of EasyJet and Sterling was a possibility. At the end of 2005 Sterling Airlines had 1,600 staff and 29 aircraft, making it almost twice as large as Icelandair. The company flew to some European 40 destinations, with Copenhagen Airport, Oslo Gardermoen Airport and Stockholm Arlanda Airport as primary hubs.
