PMDG SID/STARS - AIRAC Cycle 1202/1203 (09FEB12-05APR12) based on FAA National Data from National Flight Data Center, issued every 56d (Two Navigraph Cycles). These procedures include the following enhancements: All procedures are included as-published by the FAA and they are expanded to replace VECTORS with realistic route segments for use in a non-ATC environment (ie not using VATSIM or other service). All STARs include routing from the arrival to the final approach fix of the approach and all SIDs are expanded to include routing from the runway to the departure gate. For PMDG 737NG / 737NGX / 747-400 / 747-400X / MD-11FS9 / MD-11FSX / BAeJS41

The 30th manages Department of Defense space and missile testing, and placing satellites into polar orbit from the West Coast, using expendable boosters. Vandenberg is located on California's "Central Coast". Vandenberg and central California's coastal residents consider their environment mild. The 150 square mile area midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles is surrounded by the Santa Ynez Mountains, the Pacific shore, and ranches of northern Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties. This file has been designed to work on both FS2004 and FS-X platforms. Requires RWY 12 library textures (available at www.avsim.com) for full enhancement.

| Heavy Jet Rumbling Sound |

File Description:
I thought something was lacking from every simulator made to date, and that is, when you fly a heavy aircraft such as a 777 or 747 or A340, A330 etc. There seems to be missing that rumbling, clacking sound heard in the cockpit when you start rolling down the runway or when your taxing out, so I finally made A sound file that finally sounds realistic, I have spent many hours on this sound, and it is recorded from a real United 777-200 while in the cockpit rolling down the runway, I strongly suggest trying my sound file out if you want a realistic, cockpit on ground sound environment. :)

| White Island Photoreal Scenery (2nd of 4 releases) |

File Description:
This is the second of four photoreal scenery releases covering the main offshore islands in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.
This scenery was created from a scanned aerial photograph owned by Environment Bay of Plenty (The Bay of Plenty Regional Council). The imagery has been de-sampled for use in Flight Simulator X and utilizes the default terrain mesh. The textures are intended for summer daylight flying only, although due to the sparse nature of White Islands’ vegetation, the Islands appearance remains relatively consistent throughout the year.
It includes Steam, autogen objects (including a library object which vaguely resembles the abandoned Sulphur works) and animated birds.

File Description:
For those lucky of us who own a SSD drive, Gbytes are a valuable thing.
Fortunately, Real Environment eXtreme does compress the lovely textures that it provides. It uses deflate, a well known lossless compression algorithm. But the algorithm implementation used (probably the one provided by the .Net DeflateStream class) is not that good.
Here is a little tool that recompresses the texture with zlib, a better open source implementation. Remember that it is lossless compression we are talking about so no worry for the quality, the orignial bitmap remains the same.
The gain is about 1.83Gb (from 9.13 to 7.3) for REX SP3 Overdrive.

The C-40B is a special-mission aircraft that provides airlift with an office-in-the- sky environment for U.S. combatant commanders and other senior government officials. Built for the U.S. Air Force, the 737-700 aircraft is equipped with equipment and capabilities that support a rapid response for global missions.
