RAF Burtonwood 1955-1957

File Description:
Burtonwood was for many years the most important air base in the United Kingdom, at least in terms of its size and the amount of traffic which passed through it. Built for the RAF but taken over by the USAAF during the war, it played a major role in that war and then in the US commitment to the protection of Europe during the Cold War. The main east-west runway was extended to 9,000 feet while the others fell out of use, and a new control tower and terminal building opened in 1955. Then disaster struck, when the site began to suffer from mining subsidence. MATS left for Mildenhall in 1958 and by the following year the USAF had gone completely, although Burtonwood continued in use by the US Army until the early 1990s

Douglas C-47 (36) French Navy

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of a C-47 in the colors of Aeronavale (French Naval Aviation) #36 of Escadrille 56S "Merou". It served as a flying classroom for electronics and mechanics of naval aviation from 1964 to 1983 on the BAN Nîmes Garons, and is currently being restored in the Netherlands. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

File Description: This is repaint of Korean Air's 737-9B5 in 2002 World Cup Special Color Scheme (Nickname Worldby). Korean Air introduced this scheme during late 90s and operated them until 2002, the year of World Cup in Korea & Japan. HL7726 was the first 737-900 for Korean Air. You'll need PMDG's 737-900 to use this repaint.
