| Portuguese Air Force Lockheed PV-2 Harpoon |

Featured is Forca Aerea Portuguesa 4626, ex-US Navy BuNo 37406, Lockheed c/n 15-1272. The FAP operated 42 PV-2s and PV-2D's under MDAP (Mutual Defense Assistance Program) from 1952 on in Portugal and its colonies in Africa where they were serving in a variety of rules. The FAP went into Portugal's colonial war already before the first two regular battalions of the Portuguese Army were disembarked in Luanda, on 1 May 1961. Reaching back on three already obsolete PV-2 Harpoon liaison and patrol aircraft, equipped as make-shift bombers (and later formed into Esquadra 91), and P2V-5 Neptunes, the FAP flew a number of attack sorties against various rebel concentrations. Throughout the COIN war, which ended in 25 April 1974 by a coup d'etat in Portugal, the Harpoon played a significant role. The end of the war marked the end of the Harpoon era in Portugal. You will require Milton Shupe and Team's FS2004 or FSX Lockheed PV-2 Harpoon (harpfs9v13.zip resp. harpfsxv13.zip). Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

Douglas C-47 PH-PBA as operated from 1946 - 1947 and 1947 untill 1960.
This download contains two liveries for the C-47 as owned and flown The Netherlands Government and is applicable for the Douglas C-47 V3 version by Manfred Jahn, Jan Visser and their team. This aircraft was once active in the II World War and thereafter stored in Germany. In 1946 it came in ownership with the Netherlands Government and was regulary flown by his RH Prince Bernard of The Netherlands and has flown for the Royal household for some years. In the first year it flew under its military registration and later it became registered as the well known PH-PBA. Requires "DOUGLAS_C-47_V3_12_BETA.ZIP" to be installed on your system in advance.The textures are based on the original textures from Jan Visser and have been modified by Emile Lancee.

This package includes two workhorses of the war: the P-38J Lightning and its close cousin, the F-5 Photo Lightning. Five textures are included for the J (D-Day, Marge, Porky II, California Cutie and YIPPEE). The F-5 is Queenie, which saw action in the ETO with the 33rd PRS. Full-featured FSDS2 models. Complete package, including authentic P-38 sounds recorded by the author. Includes some gauges by Mike Wagner and Chuck Dome. Grumman Tarpon/Avenger Mk II JZ466 White 380 pf No 848 Sqn, HMS Formidable (67), August 1945. The British Pacific Fleet operated as a task group of the US Third Fleet during the latter part of the Pacific war, flying missions over Japan proper.
