Dublin Airport Tower

File Description:
For use with IFSD Dublin scenery only. Over the last year I have constantly moved my tower view in FS at EIDW for positions in and around the airport I normally spot at. This AFCAD2 file now has the tower at the right spot and right height in the IFSD scenery so when you watch the planes taxi to runway 2-8, you will actually get the feeling of looking out of the control tower due to seeing the actual window frames from the IFSD scenery in the tower. I have also added parking for the American 767 that now flies into Dublin to O'Hare and dedicated parking for any Virgin Heavies at the back of the FLS Aerospace Hangers. Also I have added medium size gates to Pier A where sometime 767's and A330's park.

MULTIPLE FS9.EXE: do it yourself! NO TOOL!

File Description:
Hi friends, Some sceneries request TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL = 19, some 20 or 21…. Others work better with UNLIMITED FRAMERATE, some work only with frames limited to 24, 25 or whatever fps…. Some Photorealistic sceneries will get blurry when using EXTENDED TEXTURES, others no…. Some aircrafts have a specific joystick configuration; others like helicopters will have a completely different one…. I was personally fed up with spending time tweaking this poor FS9.cfg file, having thousands of different copies in my computer when I just observed that Microsoft offers us a very easy way to build several FS9.exe, one for each configuration. So now I have on my desktop several FS9 icons, each one is loading FS with its specific config Very cool, really and so easy to do!!!. Do you want to know how to do that in 2 minutes? So follow me!

Modified SRTM Relief 76 m for Czech Republic

File Description:
This Czech Republic terrain mesh 76 m (LOD9) is made from the 3arc-sec SRTM. Small voids in the source data were filled by the interpolation. Both the primary processing of the 3arc-sec data and the rendering of the terrain in the FS cause flattening and simplifying of the real shape of the terrain. This phenomenon was partially compensated by the sharpening of the source data. Made by the programs Surfer (Golden Software) and MS Terrain SDK 2000 and 2002. The relief covers the area N51.1523 E011.9531 to N48.5156 E018.9844 in the boundaries of the LOD9 quadrants. This scenery contains only the elevation data. The other elements of the basic terrain as the landclass, locally used airborne photos, vector roads, rivers and lakes are available in different sceneries by other authors and they are continuously developed.

Val-U-Prop VA: Ernest K. Gann's 1939 Route

File Description:
Taken from the pages of "Fate is the Hunter" this is Route AM-21 that Ernest K. Gann flew as a co-pilot and pilot in DC-2's and DC-3's in 1938-1940. Included are FS2002 ATC Flight Planner legs for the flight, as well as a text file with all headings, NAVAIDS, approaches and some life-saving tips for flying the route in bad weather. This can be used in any version of FS. Can be flown ATC or as a VOR flight with ILS's, or even as an NDB-only flight in keeping with the period. This is a multi-stop flight: Newark to Wilkes-Barre; to Syracuse; to Rochester; Buffalo; Erie, and finally to Cleveland. Each leg has a separate Flight Planner leg. An official Val-U-Prop VA flight.

Piper Tripacer

File Description:
The Piper Tripacer is a 4 seat tube and fabric aircraft. based on the earlier Piper Clipper and Vagabond it was Piper's major step away from the Cub into a larger General Avation aircraft that could compete in the market place with the 4 seat Cessna's. This model of the Tripacer is made with FSDS 2.24 and is fully compatible with Flight Sim versions 8 and 9 (2002 and 2004 A Century of Flight)

Boeing 767

File Description:
FSX Boeing B767 Panel. This comes from an old FS98 panel by Eric Ernst which is one of the best jobs I have seen, even better than many so-called "realistic" panels for later FS releases. Since I greatly missed this panel, then I have reworked it for FSX. All gauges react to panel lights and avionics buses, making it great to flight at night. Also features no-smoking/fasten-seat belts signs, plus tape sliding radar altimeter, regulable seat position and animated yoke. Last but not least, I have included the whole gauges source code under GPL (gauge programmers will love this!). Gauges programmed with an eye towards frame rate. This new version features reworked HSI (arc/rose), reworked autobrake and gauge switches sound. By Alessandro Antonini, author of Super Flight Planner. Boeing 747-200 General Electric CF6-50E2

File Description:
Ladies & Gentlemen, I'm VERY proud to present to you my General Electric CF6-50E2 soundset. After gaining experience in the field of sound-editing I decided to "upgrade" one of my older packages to today's standard :) That means this package is actually V2.0 of my Boeing 747-200 GE soundset. But don't be fooled, this isn't just a "revised" soundset. It's a completely NEW package, not a single sound remained untouched. The typical GE "multi-engine-whine" can finally hurt your ears in FS :P The soundset also includes APU & Internal Systems sounds to enrich the experience. My testbed was Project Opensky's awesome Boeing 747-200 model but the soundset can also be used with their 747-300 model. P-51D Mustang "44-73420" N7722C

File Description:
This is a repaint only for the WWII Fighters P-51D. This aircraft, 44-73420, entered the USAAF in 1945 and served with the 190th FS, Boise, Idaho, and with several ANG units. In 1958 it was sold surplus and was registered N7722C. After passing through several owners the aircraft was painted as "Miss Torque" in 1984 and was eventually shipped to New Zealand in 1993 where it operated as ZK-PLI until 2005 when it was sold back to the US. The new owner, Jack Croul, had the aircraft fully restored and in the summer of 2006 it was flying again. The aircraft is now finished in a "polished with no paint" scheme, matching the way the aircraft looked when it originally rolled out of the factory. This repaint is full of details and includes nearly all factory stencils and the "filled, sanded, and painted wing."
