ProBrief - Rejected Take-off Drills

File Description:
Ever wanted to know what to do if you have to reject a take-off BEFORE V1? Here are the professional briefings for just that eventuality. Briefings like these are carried out by every professional crew before *every* take-off. Play them before your take-off through an MP3 player via FS2004 kneeboard or any other MP3 player out of FS. These briefings are Boeing based (like all the PROBRIEF briefings). There are THREE: 1. For aircraft with RTO 737-400, B757, B767, B777 and B747-400 2. For aircraft with NO RTO such as the B737-200 and 747-100 thro 200 3. Reject 2 is the second half of the brief and applies to all aircraft. These briefings are recited by a professional from memory without a script.

Flight Assistant 2.1

File Description:
The Flight Assistant - the successor of FS 2002 FA - is a program that provides a virtual co-pilot for flight simulation enthusiasts. You can give commands using a microphone which the co-pilot executes then. For example, one could give the command "flaps up", and then the flaps will be raised automatically. Furthermore, the co-pilot responds to your commands, so that you receive a confirmation. The program is nearly fully configurable. You are able to create new commands and even to edit the existing ones. An optional "Speak" key lets the PC only recognize commands when you press and hold down a certain key. Flight Assistant should work together with every(!) flight simulation without any problems. New in version 2.1 are some bug fixes (e.g. reduced CPU usage) and a Dutch translation.

Old Planes Box

File Description:
FS5/FS98 useable planes and AFX. This are the reminders left over on my harddisk since I have cancelled aircraft design for MSFS. The old stuff may be still useful for some simmers and designers, either upgrade them or use as is. Some have not been released to major FS sites for download. The pack contains some gliders (FS29TF, Fafnir and KA4), experimental aircraft (CV-173 and Do212) and a not yet flying jet trainer the MAKO or AT-2000. I think with todays design tools there would be a much better chance to cover the characteristic and animation required. So I leave it to the next generation of designers to check it out. Model/AFX, Textures and FD released as public domain. May be used for designers purpose. Upload by the author, Wolfram Beckert.

Boeing B767

File Description:
FS2004 Boeing B767 Panel. This comes from an old FS98 panel by Eric Ernst which is one of the best jobs I have seen, even better than many so-called "realistic" panels for later FS releases. Since I greatly missed this panel, then I have reworked it for FS2004. All gauges react to panel lights and avionics buses, making it great to flight at night. Also features no-smoking/fasten-seat belts signs, plus tape sliding radar altimete, regulable seat position and animated yoke. Last but not least, I have included the whole gauges source code under GPL (gauge programmers will love this!). Gauges programmed with an eye towards frame rate. This new version features reworked HSI (arc/rose), reworked autobrake and gauge switches sound. By Alessandro Antonini, author of Super Flight Planner.

KMHV Mojave Airport v2.0

File Description:
This remote former World War II desert airfield has developed some very interesting and unusual features. It is a center for civilian aviation R&D, a major aircraft storage and scrap yard (possibly the largest nonmilitary one in the country), a busy film site, and is the home of the National Test Pilot School, the largest civilian test pilot school in the world. Also located here is Burt Rutan's Scaled Composites company, where many innovative aircraft designs have been conceived and constructed. Mojave Airport is also where many commercial carriers store surplus or otherwise in- limbo airliners. There are currently around 90 airplanes waiting to be sold, repaired or reused here, including several 747s. This file has been designed to work on both FS2004 and FS-X platforms.

P-38L Lightning "Ruff Stuff" N79123

File Description:
This is a repaint only for the SkyUnlimited P-38L Lightning. This airplane, owned by Ron Fagen, just finished an extensive rebuild by Fagen's Warhawks Inc. of Granite Falls, Minnesota and became the fourth currently flying P-38 in the world. Making its first air show appearance at EAA Airventure 2007, the aircraft was completed in the markings of Norb Ruff's P-38G "Ruff Stuff". Norb Ruff, a Wisconsin native, completed 50 combat missions in the original "Ruff Stuff" during WWII, based in the south Pacific, operating with the 80th FS, 8th FG, "The Headhunters". This repaint replicates a wide assortment of details, from a full set of factory stencils to inspection stickers on every removable panel, hand painted nose art and more, matching the real example in nearly every way possible.

Repost of St Jovite CSZ3 in Quebec Canada

File Description:
This post is to get rid of an elevation problem I just noticed, and also to supply the revised AFCAD file.
St Jovite is a grass strip in Quebec near the town of St Jovite and Mont Tremblant tourist area. This version is intended for use with Ultimate Terrain, and I made it because I found that the original FS version and the one made by Leon Louis both clashed with Lac Ouimet, and with the float base scenery I had made there. There is no fuel or oil or maintenance available, but the grass runway is in excellent condition. I made one of my first trips from Rockcliffe to St Jovite, and found it a great destination. You probably need Ultimate Terrain for this to work, but it might work without.

File Description: FS2004 - USAF SC-54 dayglo MATS repaint for Jens Kristensens DC-4/C-54 This is a repaint featuring a US Air Force SC-54 in the colors of the Military Air Transport Service. This aircraft was used in search and rescue operations and wears the day glo colors typical of air force transports of the period. MATS was a joint service transportation operation combining resources from the Air Force, Army and US Navy into a single coordinated airlift command serving all military branches. This skin requires the Jens B. Kristensen JBK DC-4 file (dc4_v21.zip) AND the C-54 cargo version (dc4cgv21.zip). These files may be found on this and other popular FS web sites. You MUST have the cargo version installed.

Smoke Jumpers FX

File Description:
Now you can shuttle smoke-jumpers to that hard-to-get-to forest fire. These FX files allow you to drop a number of orange-clad firefighters from the DC-3, JU-52, or DeHaviland Otter. Editing the included text insert (door location) for the aircraft.cfg file will allow them to jump from any other plane of your choosing as well. I no longer have FS2002 so was unable to test this with that FS version. I wish to thank Mr. Pierino Primavesi for his kind permission in allowing me to modify the FX files he made for his Luftwaffe version of the JU-52.
