| Pan American Boeing 747 SP-21 |

File Description:
Two Pan American 747 SP-21 repaints for the Project Open Sky 747SP v4 series. These repaints depict the historical status of one airframe, N533PA.
The liveries include the paint scheme in use at the time the aircraft was first delivered, and the final livery from the late 1980's.
This particualr airframe participated in Pan American's 50th anniversary flight, a circumnavigation of the world via the north and south poles, October 28-30 1977, and carries the commemorative emblem created to mark the occasion.
The colors and logos depicted here are accurate to the best of my ability. I've been interested in historic 747's for several years now. These liveries are familiar to me as an outgrowth of my experiences with the Historic Jetliners Group.
The graphics for the 1980's livery were furnished by my friend and colleague from HJG, Mark Cranston.
I've included models and the necessary text files to incorporate these repaints into your collection.

Grumman Albatross HU-16 Version 2.1
World War II Livery
Obviously the Albatross is a post war aircraft. Although the original specifications were issued by the Navy in 1944, the Albatross did not enter active service until 1951.
So why did I bother with this repaint? One of my favorite movies is Otto Preminger's 1964 production "In Harm's Way", a great WWII Navy story.
In the movie the Albatross makes a brief appearance as a transport for the central character played by John Wayne. Most people wouldn't notice, but by that time all of the contemporary seaplanes were long retired, so the Albatross was pressed into service. The movie is black and white so I can't verify the paint, but to preserve appearances I chose to use the intermediate blue the Navy used in that period.
So for what it's worth, here's an Albatross done up in the Navy's wartime paint scheme.

As part of its 60th Anniversary commemoration, Aloha Airlines has brought the groovy looking "Funbird" livery of the late '60s to mid '70s to one of its B732s. Yeah baby! This is that B737-230, registration N823AL, named "Liholiho". It has been re-painted in these retro "Flower Power" colors. This aircraft started service halfway around the world in Germany, being delivered originally to Lufthansa in January of 1984. She wore the Aloha Airlines livery for the first time in December of 1996. This aircraft is highly detailed and all hand painted, right down to all the little flowers. If you want to light up your 'mouse' at night, I recommend Matthew Lue's Tinmouse II lighting effects (AVSIM DLID 89742).
This is a textures only package; you must have the Tinmouse 737-200adv v2 base package available here at AVSIM (tinmouse_ii_v1_25.zip). The textures in this repaint are 32-bit with no mips. NOTE: This is a re-upload due to the AVSIM site compromise.

Tail texture extracted from a real world photograph of the same aircraft. Complete pack, comes with ATR model, custom panel and custom sounds by F. S���¡nchez-Casta���±er Gonz���¡lez. Requires no external downloads. Base texture by Edward Cox, repaint by Ahmed Ahsen.

This a repaint for the 'Careando' Cessna 182RG in the Civil Air Patrol livery. This repaint was inspired by many photos I found in the Internet and it doesn't replicate any real-world aircraft. Any coincidence with real aircraft and tail-number is only a coincidence. This add-on does NOT simulate any special equipment used by C.A.P. or required for C.A.P. missions. It's just a repaint. Have been fighting fires in Israel and Chile, with great media around it.
Made this livery for the Chilean people, so friendly and nicely people, and have been suffering with wildfires for years.

VUSAFS(www.vusafs.com) Rescue jet w/ raft effect. This modification of the popular ERJ-145 commuter jet fills a gap int the @nd Emergency Responce Squadron's fleet. Based of the real-world US Coast Guard's HU-25 Guardian, (itself a modification of the Falcon 20 bizjet), the ERJ rescue jet comes with a droppable self-deploying life raft. Also included is the base American Eagle texture I started with. Original model by Project ERJ.
