F-16C Fighting Falcon Block 50 'Aegean Ghost' Hellenic Air Force

File Description:
One of the most completed packs ever uploaded for FS. Full combatible with both FS2K2 & FS9 versions, this "Aegean Ghost" repaint, is representing an F-16C Blok 50 in service of 341st Squadron of Hellenic Air Force. The fantastic model and realistic "metal looking" textures are made by Kirk Olson. The package contains realistic sounds made by Angelos Hatzikatakos. A new panel was made by Nick Karatzides who also modified the official checklist (by Lockheed Matrin Ltd.) for FS purposes and also wrote and a VERY completed flight manual (47 pages) which can be read with Adobe Acrobat. The panel uses realistic radar & HUD gauges combatible with both FS2K2 & FS9 versions, made by Eric Marciano. This "F-16C_HAF_v2.zip" package is for EXPERIENCED FlightSimers and virtual pilots who have a "good feeling" on the controls and do not "kick" the contol stick while flying...It is for people who want to know how it looks to fly with a modern fighter. The package contains visual effects, night lighting, fine looking mechanical parts movement, contrails, realistic gears extracting / retracting etc.

API Manager

File Description:
API macros are old technology as far as FS scenery design is concerned. The new approach in FS2004 and beyond is quite different. It seems possible that scenery files using macros will not be supported in the next version of FS. Nevertheless there are many scenery designers who still use macros. I am one and I have a large collection of macros. I wanted a way to manage and categorize these macros. I also wanted to be sure that I could credit authors correctly when I use the results of their efforts. I wanted a way to keep information about object footprint and scale and I wanted to know ahead of time if I had missing textures for an object. Hence API Manager. Please be aware that this is a first release and there are likely to be things wrong. There are also some areas of the program which could be more user friendly. Please note that API Manager only works with api macros Requires dotNET framework version 2 from Microsoft. Support is available from www.scruffyduck.plus.com

Fly By utility v2.0

File Description:
FS2004 Fly By v2.0. This utility enables fly by view when FS is in tower view mode. New: AI aircraft fly by view is now available. AI aircraft can be selected from the list and shown in fly by or spot plane view. Next/previous AI aircraft can also be selected with the key commands. Cycle AI aircraft fly by / spot plane view is available too. Random options for horizontal (left-right) and vertical (up-down) viewpoint positions are added. There are two types of random: with constant and variable distance to the plane. Parameters range now can be assigned. Therefore fly by period, relative lateral and altitude positions can be increased significantly. Utility is provided with the keyboard commands. Limitation of Functionality: For user aircraft it is full-functional version which does not require any registration. AI aircraft options are time-limited for the unregistered version of utility. This is a North American Registry (N206RX) re-paint of the FREEWARE Cessna C206H Stationair VERSION 2.1 (Complete Aircraft) by Blue Sky Simulations, Roger Bonne & GUIDEE Francois-Denis. VERSION 2.1 has been reworked after reports of a few errors in the files. ALL ERRORS HAVE BEEN CORRECTED! This model has been throughly flight tested and flys like a dream! All textures are rendered in DXT-3 format for crisp texturing without sacrificing frame rates. Originally modeled for FS2004, this rendition of the sturdy aircraft has been modified to work within the FS-X platform. Includes customized panel and sound package by Peter Spanakos. Both an analog and Garmin G1000 glass panel versions have been included. ***** This file superceeds my earlier C206H Stationair (file name: c206_n206rx_v2.zip) and is recommended as a stand-alone download or a replacement for existing users of my previous version. File Description: This folder contains a second repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang, in the colors of P-51D-5-NA 44-13905 KI-Y "Joe", the aircraft assigned to 1st Lt William J. McGee ('Maggie') of Peekskill, New York. He flew with the 55th FS, 20th FG, based in Kingscliffe, UK from 28/10/1944 until the 20 February, when he was shot down over Germany and made prisoner. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

North American P-51D 55th FG (CY-O) 'Wings o'Morning'

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang, in the colors of P-51D-15-NA 44-14140 CY-O "Wings o'Morning", one of the aircraft flown by Captain Robert E. Welch of the 343rd FS/ 55th FG. During his tour with the 55th FG, he claimed 7 german aircraft destroyed in the air and 11 on the ground, hence the 18 victory markings on the nose. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the A2A paintkit.

North American P-51D 356th FG (OC-N) "Moja Halka"

File Description: in the colors of Lt. Roger A Batie's P-51D 44-15274 OC-N "Moja Halka". He flew with the 359thy FS/356th FG from Martlesham Heath, UK. His aircraft was named after Miss Helen Menninger who was an American Red Cross girl managing the Aero Club at Martlesham Heath. "Moja Halka" is Polish for "My Helen" and was named in her honour by the assistant crew chief Cpl. Robert R Reginski. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the A2A paintkit.

North American P-51D 353rd FG (SX-U) "Stasia II"

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang, in the colors of P-51D-15-NA 44-1587 SX-U "Stasia II", which was assigned to Capt Anthony R Rosatone of the 352nd FS/ 353rd FG, based in Raydon UK.Capt. Rosatone was lost in this aircraft on 18 January 1945 during the Ardennes offensive. The crash site has never been found and Capt. Rosatone is therefore still officially MIA. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the A2A paintkit.
