File Description:
B25-B Mitchell Doolittle's Raiders A/C No. 40-2267, April 18, 1942. Painted over The B24 Guy's B25 Mitchell Overhaul Model. This was mission plane #15. Pilot: Lt. Donald G. Smith, Co-Pilot: Lt. Griffith P. Williams, Navigator/ Bombardier: Lt. Howard A. Sessler, Flight Engineer: Sgt. Edward J. Saylor, Gunner: Lt. Thomas R. White. The bomb group attacked targets in the Tokyo area. The North American B-25B was not designed or intended for aircraft carrier use, but there they were, sixteen highly modified bombers sitting on the deck of the USS Hornet (CV-8). They were modified to carry bombs to Tokyo. The B-25s are launched from their maximum range, and flew over Tokyo, bombing several installations. The bombs did little damage, but managed to damage the Japanese carrier Ryuho while it is in drydock. Many of the planes then head to wherever they can make it, since the fuel will be empty before they reach a friendly airbase. All of the B-25 bombers are forced to bail out or crash land except one. Eleven crews are forced to bail out over China, 3 crash land, and the last landed safely at Vladivostok. The crew that landed in Russia was interned, along with the plane, for a while. The crews were all volunteer, and had no carrier experience, yet all sixteen of the bombers were successful on take-off. Although little physical damage was inflicted on Japan, that day, the Japanese populace was demoralized, as suddenly, the war was brought to their homeland. Texture, and Damage Files included. This is a repaint for the Shockwave World War II Fighters P-51D Mustang, depicting P-51D 44-13708 "Duchess of Manhattan' as flown by Capt. Henry B. Lederer of the 374 FS/361FG, 'the Yellow Jackets', based in Little Walden, UK. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on blanks by Milan Žejdlík. This repaint should work in both FS9 and FSX, as do all my repaints.

This is a texture package for SkyUnlimited Productions (www.skyunlimited.net) Legacy of the Sky: Mustang Fighters of WWII for FS2004 and CFS3. In order to use this repaint you will need to have purchased and installed the aircraft from the SkyUnlimited website. This repaint depicts the personal aircraft of Captain Duane Willard Beeson, CO of the 334th Fighter Squadron, 4th Fighter Group, based at Debden England April 1944.

This packet includes a repaint of the US NAVY (USN) tri-colour scheme. Based
on B/W photo's. The aircraft (SNJ-4) was stationed Naval Air Station Jacksonville
in 1943 during WWII. Not clear or the "157" was just a instruction airframe
or a operational aircraft.
The "157" was was displayed on various photo's with USN WAVES woman at work

This folder contains a repaint for the MIlviz F-100D Super Sabre, in the colours of 42154 (cn 223-34) 11-YK, a F-100D of the French Air Force, flying with 4/11 "Jura". This was the last unit flying the F-100 with the FAF, when it was based in Djibouti between 1973 and 1978. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Milviz.

This folder contains a repaint for the 'Little Friends 2' package of the Warbirdsim P-51D Mustang in the colors of an aircraft of the 374th FS/361st FG, based in Bottisham, and later in St Dizier and Little Walden. 44-13708 B7-I "Duchess of Manhattan" was flown by Captain Henry Lederer.

This folder contains three repaints for the Warbirdsim P-51D Little Friends package, in the colors of 3 P-51D's of the 335th FS, 4th FG, based in Debden, UK, in March 1945. Included are:
P-51D-20NA 44-63166 "Ridge Runner II", the second aircraft called Ridge Runner flown by Major Pierce W. McKennon. This was the aircraft in which he was shot down near Neubrandenburg on the 18th of March 1945. Captain George Green landed in a field and picked up his CO in his aircraft WD-M, and both flew back to the UK.;
P-51D-10NA 44-14557 "The Duchess", the aircraft of Major William O'Donnell
P-51D-20NA 44-6373 "Suzon", the aircraft of Captain George D. Green. He was flying this aircraft on 18 March 1945 when he saw his CO, Maj. McKennon bail out near Neubrandenburg and land in a field. He landed his aircraft in the field as well, threw out his parachute, and both pilots squeezed in the cockpit, took off and flew back to the UK.
