TEAL - the Coral Route - 1952

File Description:
TEAL introduced this service in 1951, ferrying passengers, mail and small freight items between Auckland (NZ), Suva (Fiji), Faleolo (Samoa), Motu Akaiami (Cook Islands) and Papeete (Tahiti, French Polynesia). Service was initially monthly but after six months became fortnightly as its appeal spread world-wide. After all, who wouldn’t like to spend a holiday in a tropical paradise, conveyed to your destination aboard a flying boat, landing in tranquil lagoons fringed by white sandy beaches and palm trees? Now you can relive those idyllic times by flying your Short Solent IV from Auckland to Tahiti in early May, 1952. Please read the enclosed INSTALL.txt first and and coral52.doc files for essential information.

FSX Carrier Operation Package V3.0

File Description:
This freeware archive contains a set of gauges, effects and sounds which you can add to tailhook-equiped aircraft in FSX, and enables you to perform takeoffs and approaches/landings on aircraft carriers (static AND moving !!). It features: (1): A catapult gauge, enabling a catapult-launch takeoff. (2): An arrester gauge, enabling a cable-arrested landing. (3): A IFLOLS gauge, enabling accurate approaches and landings. (4): A SonicBoom effect (visual and audible) plus controller gauge. Includes extensive installation/usage documentation. Requires prior installation of FSUIPC. Special credit goes to Doug Dawson; without his (included) interface gauges (a.o. for speedcontrol, lauch/arrest zone definitions and soundplaying) this package would not exist. By Rob Barendregt.

SIDSTARS Ted Stevens/Anchorage (PANC)

File Description:
Procedures based on current cycle (0702 15Feb-15Mar) FAA Digital Terminal Procedures and published charts. Departure routes to 15 fixes for use without ATC vectors are provided, as well as the two published vectors-only DPs. All STARs are included, most with enumerations for landing ILS 07R or 14 as well as "as published" for use with ATC vectors. I have included routing between STAR and Visual 25R for two of the arrivals for the accomplished pilots. All instrument approach procedures are included with DME Arcs and Procedure Turns where published. The text header of the file includes approach, arrival and departure information including highlighting which are used as primary gateways to Asia, Europe and the Lower-48.

Aero Commander Aerobatic Flight NZ

File Description:
A .frc data file to use with Matthias Neusinger's flight recording module (found free at: http://www.neusinger.net/recorder ). With this, you can load my flight recording, and either appear as my aircraft doing the recorded manoeuvres, or fly along side as AI traffic and watch my aircraft appear as AI traffic itself. This flight is a recreation of a video I saw on youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZBcapxGHjE where the pilot takes a Aero Commander AC560 (requires Milton Shurpe's model) up to 8000 feet, then cuts the engine and nose dives, increasing airspeed enough to pull a loop and then a horizontal role, then leverling off, and landing at Woodbourne airport (NZWB)

File Description:
Procedures based on FAA digital terminal data published Cycle 0701 (18Jan-15Feb). Includes the vectors-only departure TITAN1 with 14 realistic routes to departure fixes for use without ATC vectors, based on FAA preferred routes and actual traffic tracks observed at flightaware. All arrivals are provided in either an "as published" version for use with an ATC, or with routes to landing North or South ILS final approach fixes for use in lieu of ATC vectors. All approaches are provided as published, including the procedure turn on VOR/DME 13. AFCADv2 (FS2004) for EGKK London Gatwick 2005. Default scenery, as per AIS document (April 05). New method discovered and developed by me called "Fantaxiway" which helps AI aircraft clear the runway quicker and helps reduce go-arounds. Closed taxiways used to tidy up taxiway lighting. Lighting now as per AIS document. 2 taxiways have been split to make taxiing to 26L more smoother and prevent AI stopping and eventually disappearing en-route. Auto Flaps

File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: AutoFlaps. This gauge is a continuation in the line of automatic instruments designed to make life easier in copilot-challenged cockpits by taking over many tasks that would normally be handled by an extra set of hands. When activated, AutoFlaps will raise the flaps after takeoffs and landings. The only input required from the pilot is to turn on the gauge prior to the takeoff or landing. AutoFlaps works at a very small size and should find room on any panel; however, an icon gauge is also included for those who prefer a big gauge in a separate window installation. 737 CDU Files for Project Magenta software - Version 4

File Description:
The included files are for use with Project Magenta's Boeing Glass Cockpit software. These files are the "aircraft data files", or "type" files for use with the Project Magenta CDU. The included aircraft are the 737-300, 737-500, 737-600, 737-700 (with four different engine types), 737-800, 737-900, BBJ, and the C-40A/B military version of the 737-700. The files contain accurate flap tables for V1, Vr, V2, and landing Vref speed calculations. They have %N1 takeoff and climb tables generated from real-world aircraft operating manuals, as well as proper climb reduction values. Improved cost index representation is also incorporated into these files for the 737NG's.

VTOL/Hover for Alphasim's V22-Osprey V1.1

File Description:
This freeware gauge adds new VTOL & Hover features to Alphasim's V22-Osprey. Besides true vertical takeoff&landing, it allows you to fly forward, backward, sideways and turn, while in a hover. This solution is based on overriding the normal FS flightdynamics while in a hover; in short, it's a VTOL&Hover FDE coded in a gauge. Special thanks to Doug Dawson, who created a gauge that provides for overriding FS2004 variables from an XML gauge. Requires FSUIPC (registered or unregistered, NOT included). The README includes extensive installation and flying instructions. New in release 1.2: - the gauge can now be added to both 2D Cockpit and VC. - solves the problem of Generators-Off after engine restart. By Rob Barendregt.
