File Description: Creating VIP Parking for Commercial Airliners - an Illustrated Guide. After landing a Commercial Airliner, are you frustrated by ATC directing you to a gate which is nowhere near a logical spot? This guide shows how to create a reserved parking gate at any airport and have ATC direct you properly to that gate. This concept will work for a specific aircraft of your choice. The technique is based upon investigations and information developed by Jim Vile and Reggie Fields. Tested in FS2004 only. Please unzip to a temporary folder and read the directions carefully. Compiled in Doc and PDF formats for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.

Beechcraft Staggerwing (CF-BBB)

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Alabeo Beech Staggerwing in the colors of Staggerwing c/n 113 was built in 1936 and went to Canada as CF-BBB, where it flew with Mackenzie Air Service of Edmonton, serving the North of Canada. It was equipped with ski or wheels during wintertime, with the skies covering the extended landing gear, and floats during the summer. She was impressed into the Armed Forces during the war, and flew with several owners after the war, until being destroyed in a crash near Windigo in 1955. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the blank textures by Alabeo.

This airport update for KIAD has two optional files: one version with the Crosswind runways operating, where all 4 runways will be used for takeoff/landing and one version as the default runway operation, assigned parking as per their website including the correct gates for the A380, all runway approaches updated to the latest charts, extra fuel trucks, support vehicle roads rebuilt and many other scenery improvements added, airport views are from inside the control tower (when in tower view) please view the readme before installation.

American Overseas Airlines Douglas DC-4

File Description:
FS2002 AMERICAN OVERSEAS AIRLINES DOUGLAS DC-4 , registration 90902. 90902 was used by AOA from October 1945 to September 1950 (also in the Berlin Airlift 1948/49). The new FSDS model features animated door, moving landing gear with steerable nose gear, flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudder and also night light textures. All cockpit and cabin windows are transparent. Package with DC-4 panel by Dave Haskell. Including WeightTool (v. 1.1). With WeightTool you can change the weight values, it works as if passengers get in/ out or the aircraft became fuel. Modified flight dynamic by Wolfram Beckert, animation by Chris Grabow , FSDS design, textures and WeightTool by Arik Hohmeyer (FS-Design Berlin).

Cessna 185F 2-D Panel

File Description:
The Cessna 185F for FSX from Carenado is supplied without a 2-D panel which some pilots prefer. This panel is an almost exact 2-D rendition of the 3-D cockpit layout as supplied by Carenado. The download includes a full height standard or IFR panel and a lower aspect VFR or landing panel, with new gauge files for cowl flaps, primer and lower panel switches. All other instruments used in the panels are the Carenado gauges supplied with the payware aircraft, and are not included in the download for obvious copyright reasons. Permission to upload this file has been received from Carenado.

EgyptAir Airbus A320

File Description:
Repaint of the fantastic Project Airbus A320 in the EgyptAir livery. EgyptAir is the flag carrier airline of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The airline joined Star Alliance on July 11 2008, becoming the first Middle Eastern member of the alliance. This repaint is of SU-GBZ, their A320-232 variant featuring the recently added Star Alliance logo. Textures are in 32-bit format. Contains accurate model with details such as: opening passenger and cargo doors, animated pack inlets and outflow valves, all operational control surfaces, detailed flap tracks and slat rails, hydraulics modeled on spoilers and landing gear doors. AFCAD File for RAF Mona

File Description:
AFCAD File for RAF Mona (EGOQ) on Anglesey, North Wales. Adds runway 05/23, all taxiways, 6 GA Small gates. Mona is a Relief Landing Ground for the Hawks operating from nearby RAF Valley. Most of the flying activity, and there is a lot of it, consists of touch and go landings. Mona Flying Club operates from there at the weekend and the gates have been designed to allow for such aircraft. This AFCAD has been designed to fit Steve Anderson's Mona, which is a freeware file for those who purchase his (payware) sceneries of the RAF stations in Wales (Valley, Brawdy and St Athan). Requires AFCAD by Lee Swordy.
