SPAD XIII Rickenbacker

File Description:
This is a repaint (textures only) for the SPAD VII 1916 by Stuart Green. You can get it here: http://www.domicilium.com/peveril/hangar/planes/SPAD_VII.htm Thank you Stuart for this beautifully crafted plane! This repaint represents the SPAD XIII S4523 of Capt. Edward V. Rickenbacker, 94th Aero Squadron, September 1918. Eddie Rickenbacker scored victories seven through twenty-six in his famous Keilner-built SPAD XIII, this repaint represents as it looked on 24 September 1918. On 25 September, Rickenbacker sent one of five Fokker D VIIs down out of control, and then shot down one of the two Halberstadt two-seaters they were escorting. Rickenbacker was belatedly awarded the Medal of Honor for this action on 6 November 1930.

Red Lake Cabin v2

File Description:
This is a simple fictional alaskan scenery located on the northern shore of Red Lake about 20 nm southwest of Rainy Pass (6AK). It contains a few small buildings, NDB, a waterstrip and a 600 m gravelstrip on the beach. It's not too spectacular, but a very nice starting point for bushflying. As well as it's just a few meters away from the Iditarod-Checkpoint at Finger Lake (FL - see the two flightplans included). This is an enhanced version of 'RLCABIN.zip'. I added some items, to make the place look more realistic and lively. Requires Gerrish's Trees Library v3 ('trees_v3.zip')! Works fine with both Eddie Denney's Alaska-Mesh and FS2002 Default-Mesh!

Alaska/BC Bush Scenery: Edgecombe Lodge, Johnny Mountain Mine, & Bob Quinn Lake

File Description:
My fourth bush scenery in Alaska/British Columbia. This package includes three airstrips: the first runway at Edgecombe Lodge has an unusual inclined profile, located precariously across a ridgeline on Annette Island near Ketchikan. I've also put together a tailor-made NDB Instrument Approach plate for it. The other two, Johnny Mountain Mine and Bob Quinn Lake, are hazardous real-life airstrips along the Iskut River in BC (about 50 miles north of Ketchikan). Includes AFCAD files for FS2004 and FS2002. Although I have modified the terrain to create the runways, Eddie Denney's FS2002 mesh of Alaska is still required as a foundation for this scenery to work. Also requires Gerrish Gray's Tree Library (release 3).

Beechcraft D18S (VH-CLF)

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Beech D18S by Carenado, in the colors of Connellan Airways VH-CLF. Built in 1945 as C-45F 44-87209, this aircraft was never delivered to the air force, but went to Philippine Airways as PI-C80 instead. In 1948 it went to Hong Kong as VR-HED and then to the UK as G-ALJJ. It arrived in Australia in 1952, becoming VH-KFD and was sold to Eddie Connellan in 1955. It was reregistered as VH-CLF in 1959. The aircraft was retired in 1965, and was burnt in Alice Springs for fire practice in 1974. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the white textures supplied by Carenado.
