FDC files to use with the Project Mach 2 Concorde modified with Pedro Oliviera's 'projcon*.zip' files. Tested with projcon8 modifications, but should also work with earlier versions. Working TACAN Beacons in the Netherlands (For Default or NL2000 Scenery)

File Description:
In real-life TACAN beacons require a TACAN receiver to receive the course (OBS) information of the beacon. With a civil VOR/DME receiver you only receive the distance (DME) from the beacon. The problem in FS is that there are no dedicated TACAN gauges, so it's not possible to perform TACAN approaches. These approaches require course information of the beacon. To overcome this problem this scenery modifies the TACAN beacons in the Netherlands so you can fully use them with civil receivers. So are able to fly TACAN approaches. VAL-U-PROP Onsite Flights, Including 'MOUNTAIN MISSIONS' For June 2003

File Description:
Included are about 30 flights that appeared on the Val-U-Prop VA web site in June, 2003. All contain headings, navaids, etc. in a wordpad text document that you can copy and print. Flights are in the West Coast, the Midwest, Japan, New England, and the South, and many have valuable tips on navigation, flying the approaches, etc. Included are Val-U-Prop's "MOUNTAIN MISSION" flights with some good tips for some exciting approaches.These flights can be ATC/GPS controlled in FS2002, or flown as VOR to VOR (or NDB) flights in FS98/FS2000. New Twin Jet Sounds For The FSD T38 & Other Military Jets

File Description:
New twin jet sound for FS2002 FSD T-38A Talon (must have this aircraft!) using edited MS default FS2002/CFS3 waves with revised "sound.cfg" parameters. Quiet "electro-mechanical" sound in cockpit is matched to engine RPM to give good audio feedback of throttle setting, especially handy on final approach. The new "wind" noise in the cockpit increases in pitch & volume in direct relation to airspeed, giving a sense of increasing velocity. Max volume/pitch of the wind noise is adjustable within sound.cfg. External sounds are "military" and a little loud. Folder stucture of extra "TestBed" Talon included for safe testing of effects, and .cfg file info for an optional speed increase(Mach 1.5). D/L compiled by Jan Rosenberg/aka"JR"/aka"I.Candymaker".

Non-Reflective Model for The Greg Pepper, Tom Gibson CV-580.

File Description:
This file contains a non-reflective model for the CV-580 by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson which provides improved frame rates over the reflective model. The improvement in frame rates is beneficial when using the CV-580 as an AI aircraft type. This new model file has also been optimized for my CV-580 repaints which do not have reflective textures.

Orbiter *.msh File Export / Import Tool for Gmax and 3DSMax v1.2

File Description:
Version 1.2 of the .msh file export/import tool for gmax and 3DSMax. New in this version:

• reorganised the 3 scripts into one script defining 2 utilities with their own rollouts, feature for saving to a file or dumping to Listener is now selectable through radio buttons, the script should now be placed in the scriptsstartup directory of gmax/3DSMax and can then be used via the MAXScript rollout in the Utilities tab
• grouped objects are now exported correctly, group objects are skipped, also nested groups should work
• all objects with transparent materials assigned (opacity < 100) are now placed at the end of the mesh file
• new feature for rotating the mesh by 90 degrees around x on import/export this makes it easier to edit models in gmax, especially ground scenes
• fixed a problem on importing meshes that don't specify normal vectors
• made import more stable towards meshes that don't 100% conform to the .msh format
• external tool "GMaxMshGrabber" for grabbing the .msh file output from the MAXScript Listener window to a file is now part of the package
