Castle Bamburgh United Kingdom N 55 36.32 W 1 42.35 Bamburgh’s written history begins in the times of the Anglo-Saxons with one chronicler citing Bamburgh as probably the most important place in all of England. But even before this there were people living here, there is archaeological evidence that as early as 10,000 BC there were people here. There are Bronze Age (2,400 -700BC) burials nearby and pottery sherds dating to the Iron Age (700 BC – 43AD). With little evidence of their occupation only the name Din Guayrdi gives us a hint that Romans were sometime between 43AD and 410AD. Important VFR point for approaching at various airports. Calgary Alberta and Local Area Scenery

File Description:
Calgary, Alberta, Canada Version 1.1 This version contains the same 58 downtown buildings including the Calgary Tower and over 40 of the largest buildings, as of September, 2006. There are no new buildings in this version but several scenery (terrain) files have been added which replace Microsoft's default scenery for the Calgary area. This allows all the downtown buildings to be moved to their proper location rather than sitting in the default Bow River which looked more like a long lake. This version should work with Ultimate Terrain and other add on scenery files such as Holger Sandmann's bcmesh9e. Other enhancements include some VFR scenery based on the VFR Terminal Area Chart for Calgary, a more realistic Bow River, Elbow River, Glenmore Reservoir, Chestermere Lake and Ghost Lake.

Version 2 of the advanced 747-400 panel with full working overhead, pedestal, TCAS radar, Central pillar, ATC control, customized FS2002 GPS, APU, new PFD and HSI, custom gauges, and much more. V2 adds sounds to all the overhead switches, some light indicators, and a brand new VFR panel. Other little fixes from V1 also included. An updated V1 version of the panel is also included, for those who do not want the VFR panel, but wish to take advantage of all the other updates, like sound with the switches, etc. This is a complete panel and does not need the previous version. This panel is intended to be the most complete and useful 747-400 freeware panel available. Will work with any 747: POSKY, Meljet, or default.

Israel, the Holy Land - 1North (ver. 01)

File Description:
FS2002/FS2004 highly detailed landclass for Northern Israel, covering the Land of Upper and Lower Galilee, Lake of Galilee and the coastal area of North-Western Israel. Within this area there are many places with historical and Geographical significance for those who are interested in that part of the world. "Israel, the Holy Land 1" is the first released part of an ongoing effort to cover all of Israel with new, detailed landclass. The scenery is made in the highest LOD (level of detail) and shows realisticl coast lines, ports, highways, important secondary roads and rail roads, cities, towns and villages of 2,000 residents and above, accurate vegetation, sand dunes, quarries, and other landuses needed for VFR. The scenery is enhanced with night lighting to enable easy VFR navigation by night.

The atolls of the Maldives Asia

File Description:
The atolls of the Maldives are numerous and some atolls are also uninhabited. The most famous atolls are: The Male Atoll and Baros N4.18.26 E73.20.91 with the VRMM airport, the Gan atoll N0.41.36 E73.9.27with the VRMG airport, Hanimardhoo Atoll N 6.44.56 E73.10.06 with the VRMH airport, the Kaadedhahoo atoll N0.29.21 E72.59.41 with the VRMT airport and the Kadhdhoo N1.51.30 E73.31.15 with the VRMK airport. The aforementioned airports have been improved and the most important resorts have been created on the islands of Baros, Gan, Hanimaadhoo, Kaadedhahoo and Kadhdhoo, and small ports have been created with ships and boats. I remember that all the islands can be easily visited by seaplanes in their respective tiny ports. Good VFR flight. Within the downloaded package you will find readme files for scenery installation. Israel SRTM 90m Mesh Ver. 1.0

File Description:
Finally, VFR/CVFR pilots are able to enjoy the tall peaks of the Hermon mountain, the Golan heights and the ravines of the Western slopes of the Carmel mountains, the road to Jerusalem and the sub-sea level features of the Sea of Galilee and the famous Dead Sea. The Negev Desert can finally show off its fascinating topography which includes, among others, the Small Crater and Ramon Crater whose features are clearly visible from space. There are many canyons, ravines, dry streams and other dramatic ground landscapes which can make a Negev Dessert VFR Expedition quite exciting. The trip could end at Eilat. Now you can see this well known touristic resort, bordered on the West and East by the tall and rugged mountains which have been among its more typical features.

Garstang Wind Generator,England.For FSX

File Description:
A new wind generator just gone live near the town of Garstang and is large enough to serve as a good landmark for pilots around the area. Designed for my Northern-Microlights and VFR scenery from Horizon and Just-Flight but will work with the default scenery. Should work with FS9 but I havent tried. it.
