VFR Tour de France 2006

File Description:
On 1st July 2006, the 23 days / 3,639 kilometres cycling tour Tour de France 2006 will start in Strasbourg. The 20 VFR flight plans, for the default Cessna 172, follow this schedule to a large extent. To enhance the beauty of France in FS2004, I strongly recommend the installation of Olivier Bochu's frp2004.zip and of Guy Nemoz's frenchalpsaltiports.zip; these guys did great jobs :-) !!!

VFR Ford Reliability Tour 1925

File Description:
Henry Ford announced, in July 1925, the Ford Reliability Tour for commercial aircraft. Anthony Fokker made sure to be the first to arrive in the first three stages, which brought him all the publicity he wanted. In fact, the success of the Fokker F.VIIa-3m inspired Henry Ford to build the Ford Trimotor, based on this Fokker aircraft. The beautiful Fokker F.VIIb-3m (f7b_klm1.zip), created by Jens B. Kristensen, is the closest plane available for this Tour.

File Description:
It took Charles Kingsford Smith and his famous Fokker F-VIIb/3m "Southern Cross" two years to be the first to fly around the world via Australia, England, Newfoundland and California. Download and install Jens B. Kristensen's beautiful Fokker F-VIIb/3m "Southern Cross" (filename: scrss_10.zip) to make these flights.
