Douglas TBD-1 Devastator MIDWAY T-5 for The B24 Guy's OH

File Description:
TBD-1 Devastator MIDWAY T-5, June 1942. For the B24 Guy's Overhaul Model. The make-up of this skin was possible through viewing a photo of the "T-5" of the Torpedo Squadron Eight, that was taken on the launching deck of the USS Hornet (VT-8) on June 4, 1942. All of the 15 TBDs that were launched in this group found their target--the IJN's Kaga, but even with their success, all were shot down. Enjoy!

This is a repaint of RAZBAM's excellent A-4C. These textures represent an A-4C of VA-22, Fighting Redcocks, on board the USS Coral Sea in 1966. In the real world this aircaft was shot down by AAA over North Viet Nam on 10/4/1966 and the pilot LCDR John D. Burns became a POW. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY!
